Yes, our S&C Coach was an Assistant S&C at Hawaii last year.
Ash put a lot of time, effort and research into assembling this Staff.
Remind me to never take you seriously since you have no idea what you're talking about.
My bad, he was an Assisstant at OSU and before that at Murray State.
But Knucklehead if you think this team is in shape and has the strength of a Power 5 team you are clueless !
This team is filled with a bunch of bad football players. Our entire starting linebacker core would barely start at an FCS school. They can't shed a block to save their life
you people make me laugh. When Flood was sucking, no one claimed talent was an issue. At the beginning of the year, talent wasn't an issue. To totally ignore the coaching and obvious mistakes all year, lack of adjustments, player decisions etc and blame talent is beyond ignorant
I believe most people claimed that. Particularly when RU was getting blown out by Ohio State, Michigan, Nebraska, etc.
The series of posts that led to this one is pretty funny, topped off by moving from "my bad" to "you are clueless" in this post alone.
The biggest problem with Flood was that we hired the former assistant offensive line coach from Hawaii as our head coach. If you don't see that, you are clueless and must suck at the game Clue. You Knuckleheads make me laugh, like an "OMG girl that was funny" laugh not a chuckle laugh.

I'm a supporter of this staff, however, I will admit, some of our linemen looked fat and slow.....as if the strength coach announced he wanted them to gain some weight, and had a book of discount coupons for the grease trucks for each of the players.
So your saying replace the assistant strength and conditioning coach and we magically right the ship? Got it.
Not at all. I was just clarifying the mis-information posted about our S&C coach being from Hawaii. I have no clue how you could have drawn the conclusion you did from my comment.

I find it typical when a poster has an agenda he conveniently "forgets" where the S&C coach came from. The OP has been harping on the S&C for a while. The Hawaii reference was obviously meant as a knock.
Gary Beemer is the Assistant S&C coach from Hawaii. Maybe the OP was confused like most here. The guys bio is linked.

Just figured it out. We hired comedian Chris Elliott as our Assistant S&C Coach. That's why our S&C is a joke.

After seeing an 8-4 New Mexico team in action last night I have to disagree. If you limited your assessment to Power 5 teams it may have some merit, but not D-1 let alone all of college FB. What this team was NOT ready for was a schedule with 4-5 Top 10 teams.
BULLSHIT! Some of us have been talking about the impending talent issues, DUE TO FLOOD, for 3+ years now. Where the f* have you beeen? What a load of crap in this post.
Gotta say I had the same reaction to that post. The concerns about the constant drop in talent since Flood took charge of recruiting and the roster were a constant and every-growing discussion on this board throughout his tenure. It started with his first full recruiting class falling apart and only got louder from there.
Exactly. I have NO idea where that guy is coming from my Lord I LITERALLY got banned from here because I spoke, realistically, about the things going on under Flood which mainly involved recruiting. While I never started a single thread I, likely, posted in 100's of them about the very topic as it was discussed incessantly lol! The "start of this season," as well, just a weird, way-off-base, post.
