I agree with you on the shots not falling, but I was trying to give you some insight into what could have occurred. I'll give you credit for acting like you have brass balls, but when someone kicks them, they shatter like glass.

I coached AAU basketball for about 20 years and learned a ton from people like Kevin Boyle, who I greatly admire. With regards to the OSU game, sometimes refs will be incompetent, sometimes they will be assholes, sometimes they will be intimidated. The refs at OSU at the end of the game were incompetent and lazy. Shit happens and it will always happen. The key is to focus on what you could have done better to avoid that situation…we missed a key FT, we lost a key rebound, etc. Try not to ever leave it up to the refs. They will dissapoint..especially on the road.

I’m absolutely certain that Pike preaches the same. However, It’s disappointing that it seems at least one veteran player is admitting the OSU result may have affected the team’s performance in the Seton Hall game.

Kevin and his wife are great people. He helped my friend become the state player of the year.
