The Big Ten Conference is holding men's basketball media day on Wednesday, Oct. 2.

The Big Ten Network live broadcast is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. ET.

Following the press conferences, Dave Revsine and Stephen Bardo will host "BTN Live: Men’s Basketball Media Day" from noon to 3 p.m. ET with more coach and athlete interviews. Coaches and players from each Big Ten team will visit the set in addition to an appearance by Delany.



Big Ten commissioner Jim Delany is scheduled to talk for 20 minutes. Following Delany, each men's basketball coach in the conference is scheduled to talk for 10 minutes.

Wake me when any coach has anything even remotely interesting to say. Media Day is a true waste of time. It's more for the players and coaches to socialize.
It promotes the league, the teams and attempts to get fans excited about the upcoming season. There's nothing wrong with it.
 
Pike is the man. Loved hearing Geo say the team has even higher expectations for themselves. Refreshing from some of the loser talk going around the boards of a low expectation easily attainable team goal of .500
