Cliff was awful

Don't our coaches have some drills that will help Cliff's hands with regard to loose balls.

Besides the 3 cheap offensive fouls of course.
well.. he earned 2 though one of those shoulda been a no-call. And one was complete BS foul call. That fit the BS no-call on the totally obvious backcourt violation early in the game... a call our D rightfully EARNED and did not get.

I don’t disagree with much of the comments here. I also have noticed that his positioning and hands could be better. But I do think that he still has high level potential versus the doubt from some of the others.

IMO, the problem with Cliff is that he gets moved too easily. Hence struggles with holding a position or grabbing a ball in traffic. We are also doing a poor job getting him the ball. The few times that we actually get it to him, it feels like he forces it because he knows it’s going to be only one of the few post opportunities.

I’d actually be interested to see him and Woolfolk play at the same time. Make the opposing team’s biggest player play Woolfolk and take some load off of Cliff. If Woolfolk gets 1v1 in the post against a smaller forward, give Woolfolk a chance to back down. Make sure any shooters are ready for the kickout three from either Cliff or Woolfolk.

He posts up too far from the basket then once he gets the ball he is often in no man's land. Too far out for a low post move and too close to the basket to make a perimeter move.

Needs to fight more for that low post position.
