There has been discussion on this board regarding the 2017 Wrestling All Star match at Princeton being held on the same day as our match in Yankee Stadium against Maryland.
Members of the SKWC discussed this conflict with the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA). The NWCA has changed the All Star Match to Sunday the 5th at Jadwin Gym in Princeton.
Rutgers fans now have a great opportunity to support Rutgers Wrestling and attend the AllStar match. By attending both events we will help build the RU wrestling brand and wrestling in NJ. Hopefully, both Yankee Stadium and Jadwin Gym are sold out. If achieved, it will an important step in helping Rutgers become a top 5 program. Fan support is essential for RU to attract the best student athletes.
