Doesn't appear to be much room for improvement unless we get some upsets against Penn State or Nebraska
Too soon to predict # of NCAA qualifiers. Need to know how many Big Ten Qualifiers by weight class

Peterson 8th unless Saturday's loss knocks him down to 9th
Heilmann 7th not much room for movement
Olivieri 7th unless upsets Bartlett or Hardy
White 11th unless Gomez is out of the tournament - then 10th
Clark 13th needed more Big Ten wins in weight class
Kanniard 13th unless he upsets Wilson
Turley 10th
Soldano 8th unless he beats Pinto
Janzer 9th
Boone 7th

-Think Peterson got a shot at Nebraska’s Cronin..he’s been on a tear sr year tho..
-Wouldn’t be shocked if Olivieri beat Bartlett..
-The way Janzer been going he could beat Nebraska’s Allred

Yeah, besides these doesn’t seem to be much other room for b10 seed improvements.

MY current guess of Top 4 Seeds and each Rutgers Seed. Seeds based solely on Big Ten Record.

While we don't have great seeds, we are positioned for upsets and a better result than projected. Our guys improved as they experienced Big Ten competition. Early season weak competition didn't prepared our kids for the Big Ten schedule.

125: Lee, Ramos, Cronin, Barnett, and Peterson #9
133 :Bravo-Young, Mendez, Byrd, Cannon and Heilmann #8
141: Woods, Hardy, Barlett, Pucino, and Olivieri # 8
149: Sasso, Gomez (if healthy) Thomas, Murin, and White # 10 or #9 if Gomez is out
157: Robb, Coleman, Haines, Saldate and Clark #13
165: Amine, Hamiti, Kennedy, Facundo, and Kanniard #12
174: Starocci, Labriola,Smith, O'Reilly, and Turley #10
184: Brooks, Salazar, Romero, Finesilver & Soldano # 8 (forfeit to Pinto moved Brian to # 8)
197: Dean, Allred, Braunagel, Hoffman, and Janzer # 11
UNL: Parris, Kerkvliet, Cassioppi, Davison and Boone # 8 (limited Big 10 competition hurts Boone)

So... out of ten wrestlers we have not one likely to be seeded in the top half of the conference?! Eye opening... or perhaps eye watering. Yes, the conference is brutal for wrestling, but could this be our poorest BIG10 showing ever?

8 or 9 seeds are the worst....need to upset @1 wrestler to get to semis

Have to think some upsets will happen. They will compete. Happens every year. The top seeds lose to lower seeds on occasion. Not a perfect science. Matchups matter.

These all look pretty solid, except Haines is undefeated in B1G, and Coleman has two losses. That should put Haines in the 2-spot.
