Eddie's quote

The whole team. Every single player looks different. Corey included.

Go back to whatever it is you know about. Clearly that's not sports.
Okay, you also said that about every football player. How that workout? Your new statement is also very different than the original post. Every player should look different because it's another year in the offseason. But no one was doughy.

I wonder if some of the people saying we should stop mentioning Eddie Jordan are the same ones who love bringing up what a disaster Kyle Flood was.

I know it's not the exact same thing, of course. But if the "turn the page" mantra works for one, it should work for the other. And I, for one, am not quite done with either one of them.

Luckily I'm old enough to remember Eddie as a player. And as a coach, soon he'll just be dumped in that list of mediocrities and failures between 1991 and whenever, much like the presidents between Jackson and Lincoln are.

How's THAT for an analogy?:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

At the start of the last school year, we had two coaches in our revenue sports and an AD who had no business running any D-1 programs - no less being involved with the Big Ten. We still have a long way to go. But we are now back in the game with Ash, Pikiell and Hobbs

They wouldn't look different under Eddie. He put no emphasis on training.

I hear it on the football boards and hear it here now too .. this whole "no one else wanted the job" , so we should be so thankful to whoever coaches here ..

A division 1 coaching job paying millions of dollars will never ever be something hard to fill.

Exactly. Eddie saw the $ signs. Where is he now, sitting at home counting his money ? A better question is who else would have paid Eddie Jordan over a million a year ? He's a hustler that used his "native son" status to cash in. He had neither the intention nor the drive to build RU into a respectable program let a lone a top dog.
