Email Hobbs and let him know that his first statement related to improving the Rutgers Basketball Program by referencing how the current facilities are an ALBATROSS on the recruiting trail is NONSENSE. All Rutgers needs is Danny Hurley and better recruits will flock to the program and it's 1977 facilities and its 25 year NCAA drought.

with all due respect. Does you continued repetition of the facilities quote that you also have as your signature count and classify as the exact type of thing you wanted banned in your "can I be the MOD thread"?

(really) We get it and I think few disagree that we need to upgrade here. But to truly believe that Hobbs is giving Eddie a pass for this and not using that line to drum up support is a bit naive IMHO Ohio.

Honestly...do you really think he is developing what he's got? Coaching games good to great? Preparing for the games good to great?

and by your own logic once we get a great upgrade that all of a sudden everyone wants to come to Rutgers brand new pad and play for this guy and this team?

I'm sorry, but your quote that there is no evidence that Eddie will turn this around is just kind of vanilla. There is no evidence he will not turn this around either. How about the fact that he pulled in 2 4 star guys this year. I know at Rutger that Freshman need to play like seniors before we will give a coach credit.

Most of the fans on this board were able to project out the troubles of this team without EJ coaching a minute on the court. Hell Bobby Hurly wanted 7 years because he knew it couldn't be done quickly here too. And yet every one loves him.

Outside of our fan base, every announcer and prognosticator has spoken highly of EJ's coaching and also stated the he is climbing a mountain at Rutgers (that by the way...no other coach wanted to take on!!!!).

Tell me how you absolutely know how the team performs with a full roster, including, it's best low post rebounder and defender and with it's best low post offensive player and offensive rebounder.....How do you know ? Do you know absolutely know that we will not bring in a few shooters to help next year ?

I take it that you are Guaranteeing only 4 more wins next year ? I would love to know how you did that when you have no idea what the roster will look like ?

Yea, let's email Hobbs. Maybe you can type out a suggestion that includes all the points that everyone needs to hit when they email him. This should be a form letter setup where we can add our name to it and send it away.

You can use the letter the Rutgers Alumni Association sent out about fans supporting the $25 million tax credit as a guide. That should save you some time.

Utter nonsense.Better facilities would attract better recruits and better head coaching choices.Hurley wanted a seven year contract because he knew the difficulty in attracting top tier recruits.
