If Alabama loses, which is very plausible, can OSU vault into the top 4 putting 2 BIG teams in the final 4? The BIG is looking pretty good right now at #4, 5, and 6.

There is also another football game Friday, the RU womens soccer team is in the final 4. I really do not want to lose to PSU again! Hopefully the neutral field will help us in the rubber game of the season. We need some positives for our athletic program in a bad way. Winning the first NCAA championship would certainly be a good way to end 2015.

it is not very plausible alabama loses to florida. florida doesnt have an offense. last 3 games 9 against vanderbilt, 20 against florida atlantic, 2 against fsu. alabama a lot better defense than those 3

From scarletknights.com game notes:

Rutgers is 5-8-1 all-time against the Nittany Lions. Prior to the 2-0 Big Ten Championship loss to PSU on Nov. 8, Rutgers had won four-straight matches against their new league rival, with two coming at Yurcak Field and two coming at Jeffrey Field.

Moral of the story: don't be scared of PSU. Obviously, we match up well with them and belong on the same field. Now go beat 'em!

Re: football: if Stanford wins the PAC-12, I bet they leapfrog OSU and the Iowa/MSU loser because the committee is biased towards champions. Would UNC jump to the top four if they convincingly beat Clemson? Bad schedule OOC and a bad loss to South Carolina, but they'd be 12-1 with 12 straight wins.

Florida beating Alabama would be a stunning upset. I can't imagine that one happening.

I don't think the committee will take two teams from one conference. Their rationale of elevating OSU over TCU last year was that TCU was the Big 12 runner-up due to the tie-breaker as well as OSU's dominating win in the championship game. If Alabama or Clemson lose, then Stanford is in with a win over USC. If Clemson and Stanford lose, then UNC makes the playoffs.

1. Clemson
2. Alabama
3. Iowa / Michigan State
4. Oklahoma
5. Stanford
6. North Carolina (with a win over Clemson)
7. Notre Dame

If Alabama, Clemson, and Stanford all lose:
1. Iowa / Michigan State
2. Oklahoma
3. North Carolina
4. Notre Dame

The Gators O will not score on Bamas D. Florida will need special teams and defensive TDs to keep this game close.
