- I've said this multiple times, but I'm not quite sure why we aren't feeding Martin and Hicks more, especially in the beginning of the game...they had all of 4 touches in the 1st half...get them going which will free up Grant as well

- Others posters have said this as well but the team looks slow...did they add too much weight?

- Defensive line wasn't giving Howard much troubles...which is scary

- Felt like I rarely saw more than a 4 man pressure

- What's going with the offensive line? Thought they were supposed to be a strength of the team?

- Laviano is scared...if we're going to have any chance to win B1G games, we need him to be confident...also when he runs with the ball, it seems so prone to fumble since he doesnt secure it well #FreeGio

- R-U chant on TV sounded really good

- Very few injuries & cramps on the team is a testament to Parker

- Seeing a glimpse of what this offense can be with Gio & Tylin was a big relief...once Mehringer gets the proper talent for this type of offense we'll be able to score a lot...but until then he really needs to adjust his playcalling

- Outside of Ross-Douglas getting beat, I can see this secondary improving as the season goes on

I hope next week, we outscore the Lobos early on so we can see Gio throw!

I was thinking the RU chant was better yesterday. I think it was due to the heat and the ho hum start to the game. The fans were disinterested and it kind of worked. Maybe that's the key. We need to suck again.

RU ran very few plays in the first half, especially the first quarter. Goodwin still number 1, Martin 2, Hicks 3 for some reason. And for second game in a row, Hicks had the best yards/carry average.

You're right about lack of pressure from the front 4, other than JPO who is very good. On 1 big Howard gain around their right end, DE Carter got pancaked. Hamilton seems noticeably slower, Joseph is effective but doesn't always get good penetration. Lambert is better against the run than pass rushing.

Hayes in the secondary was really good yesterday. Hester had a poor first half tackling, but he's always in the play.
Cioffi could have had 2 interceptions, 1 easy, 1 hard.

FG kicker looks shaky at best.

I get that we ran very few plays, but man I'd rather handoff to Martin/Hicks then have Laviano continue to miss throws like a flare route to Janarion...

Totally forgot about the FG kicker...saw him live in the Washington game and he barely made his one FG there too...need to recruit one for 2017
