Say it every game. We miss more chippys than any team I have ever seen.
Good effort, good job on D and rebounding but we literally have no one who can make a basket. Williams once and a while. That's if. I don't understand how you get to the D1 level without being able to shoot a basketball since ultimately that is the goal of the sport, right? Putting the round ball in round hole! Unless I have forgotten what basketball is.
we do everything except score. Unfortunately that's kind of an important thing.
Well, unfortunately if you are 6'6" and very athletic you can land yourself a D1 scholarship. Tons of 6ft slow guys that can knock down 3s at a higher rate but could never get a shot off at this level...

When you hold a team to 27% shooting and 5 FTS in a half you really should be up a least a few points. Cripes
Neither of these teams is good enough to put the other away. We are capable of going on a 12-0 run, just as we are capable of letting PSU do the same.
It will take Coach Pik about 2 or 3 recruiting cycles to get a good team. Athletes who can't shoot well are easy to find. The good athlete who can also shoot are the 4stars everyone wants.
Hard to tell if we're missing bad shots or just not taking good shots. Gettys has so many 12 ft looks from inside the foul line, but he doesn't look at the basket.
Lost our chance when PS had 2 points for 7 minutes. Need to wake up for round 2.

Only half a game. Sure we played horribly in the first half. PSU defense has allowed a lot of open looks and while we normally don't hit them, we're better than the rate we've shown.
Our bench is longer than theirs, and more talented after the starters. They'll get tired. Our crowd has not had the opportunity to get into it yet, but 6500 at the RAC on a run or in a close game....
We must show some poise (listening Nigel?) and we'll be OK.

Rutgers usually has a handful of great athletes every season...haven't had one great shooter in over a decade
This can't be said enough. People need to stop with the "NCAA in 2018" posts
CJ needed to bring that rebound down, gather, then go up strong instead of trying to shoot immediately.
