Against Houston, he was 42/59 for 486 yds and 3TD

I think the mistakes of Gleason and then putting all the eggs in Wimsatt are going to be too big to overcome for Schiano. You basically have to start all over again from scratch on offense in year 4.
Fair points. That said, he would benefit from having serious competition at position next season. He does have a lot to work on in terms of accuracy, touch and reading field and the competition will push him on these fronts.
Greg knows he is safe and that is the problem. He had a great relationship with Mulcahey and was protected but even Bob told him he needed to produce.

Young qb needs a good line with pass protection being paramount followed by a strong running game. We have neither so Gav is gonna struggle on top of the normal youth struggles.
