End of the regular season in lots of conferences, and 17 ranked teams playing

B1G

#12 Iowa 74 Northwestern 50 – 1 team finishes 9-9
Minnesota 81 Michigan State 63 – 2 more teams finish 9-9
Indiana 73 Purdue 51 – upset means that 1 team could have finished 9-9 doesn’t
Michigan 59 Wisconsin 49 – Wolverines get 20thwin

No, I’m not doing the tiebreaks.

Other RU opponents

#23 Drake 70 Missouri State 61 – Bulldogs avenge earlier loss
Virginia Tech 69 Wake Forest 57 – Magarity led the Hokies with 17 and 15
Auburn 56 LSU 46 – at 7-9, Lady Tigers end up tied with Tennessee in SEC

Other ranked teams

#3 Louisville 67 Pittsburgh 40 – Durr had only 17 in this one
#4 Notre Dame 103 Virginia 66 – Irish clinch ACC regular season crown*
#5 Mississippi State 68 #14 South Carolina 64 – Bulldogs win SEC
#6 Oregon 66 #21 Arizona State 59 – Ducks clinch P12
#7 Stanford 72 Washington 53 – 20 losses for the Huskies
#9 Oregon State 65 Arizona 60 2OT – shocking that it even got to one OT
#10 NC State 70 #15 Miami 68 – Rogers led the Wolfpack with 21 on her senior day
#11 Kentucky 58 Georgia 53 – surprisingly close
#13 Marquette 80 Providence 57 – despite recent struggles, Golden Eagles win BEast
#17 Syracuse 76 Boston College 59 – Mangakahia had 27, 7, and 8 for the Orange
#19 Texas A&M 66 Arkansas 53 – Carter had 24 for the Aggies
#22 Florida State 64 Georgia Tech 55 – huge 4th quarter comeback for the Seminoles
#25 UCLA 84 Colorado 50 – Bruins have won 4 of their last 5

*Random note: The ACC network promo video has a shot of Muffet McGraw in her trademark crouch; she’s right after Roy Williams.

Also

Duke 62 North Carolina 44 – Duke gets to .500 overall; Carolina drops to .500 in the ACC and 17-13 overall**
Tennessee 81 Mississippi 56 – worst SEC campaign for Tennessee since I can remember
Northern Iowa 76 Southern Illinois 67 – this score sparks joy

**I’m interested in whether the Tar Heels have done enough to make the NCAAs. The ACC has the best conference RPI, and they have wins over UCLA, Notre Dame and NC State, but they’ve lost 3 of the last 5 and 4 of the last 7, they have losses to Maine, Colorado, Pitt, and Duke (twice) and there’s that 8-8 conference record. I wonder if a 1st-game ACC tourney loss against Georgia Tech would leave them in trouble.
