Should have been receiving IV fluids and IV antibiotics since he got sick. What kind of team doctors do we have? By the way in November the federal government rated NJ Hospitals. RWJ NB was only giving 2 stars out of 5. ST. Peter's received 4 stars.

Not only that he was at women’s game vs USC when he was clearly still sick

I'm glad you've dx the kid from behind the computer. He probably got IV fluids. You don't need to be in the hospital to get IV fluids. And, BTW, the flu is caused by a virus, abx don't help that. Your post is ridiculous. BTW can you provide a link for those ratings?

Agree, and more, hospitals are the last place anyone should be unless critically ill or a serious injury.

You can spend money to have all that stuff brought to you. It's very common in Vegas.

How this was handled was completely screwed up though. The staff and Dylan have ownership in that screw up. That said, Dylan at 100% was still a loss for RU against Purdue.

Yes Pikell said it and he lost 9 pounds; why they even let him go to Wisconsin or play against Wisconsin is mind boggling
Pikiell said it so it must be true, LOL.

Maybe he lost 9 lbs and was vomiting and had the flu. Or, maybe that’s not the truth which is why it was ok for him to travel to Indiana.

To Shelby, actions speak louder than words and the coach’s explanation doesn’t completely add up.

Weird thread.
Why is it weird to discuss on a fan message board the topic of our leading scorer being sick for 3 straight games? It’s a topic.

I was in Indiana for that game and he was downing Gatorades pregame and in a hoodie and warmups at the end of the bench. Having him fly out there for that game is up there with Schiano’s timeout against Illinois as the dumbest coaching decision of this school year

Weird for random fans to think they know more than the medical professionals who are actually treating him, his parents, the support staff, the coaches, etc.

I would bet you your next paycheck that he was receiving IV fluids the entire time. If you’ve known anyone who has had this flu, it’s ridiculous, stomach flu, and you lose 10 to 15 pounds in a few days with no problem.

That's the Somerville location. OP was referring to NB.
Ok..good catch. More work to do for me.
Btw..no disagreement on your post. Just like facts. I have personal experience with that place and frankly have never heard great things about.

Nike has invested millions in his future - does anyone with a brain think he doesn’t have the best medical advice.

Nothing compares to Schiano's asinine decisions:
* icing the kicker
*opting to go first in OT @ Illinois in 2005 after winning the coin toss.
*declining a late 4th and 1 fourth quarter penalty against USF, which then converted on the next play and went on to win the game on that drive.

Schiano's decisions are the worst in the history of sports. The only other which compares is Cristobal handing off to an RB to reach 100 yards against GT in 2023 instead of victory formation to win the game. RB fumbles, GT recovers and throws a long TD pass with 1 second left to win.

Figures only a prior Schiano assistant would be just as stupid.

You think he didn’t get treated? What is going on around here? People are losing their minds.
