Yes and I would say that is because Rutgers was better than Uconn. That's more on the schools and infrastructure than on the coaches.
Maryland is FAR and away better as a football school than Rutgers. When we left the ACC we had the 3rd most conference champioinships only behind FSU and Clemson. We have 1 National championship to our name a few undefeated seasons. NFL and College hall of famers.
I take nothing away from Rutgers, and the last decade has been good for you. Better than our last 10 years, but our facilities are better and so is our tradition. We get kids to the NFL same as you. We are very similar. You have the #1 market in TV. We have the #4 when you combine D.C. and Baltimore. We both play in the shadow of major pro teams. We both are benefiting from better conferences. However, we have a leg up in a lot of areas especially facilities. I think RU will catch up over time, but it's not going to happen over night.
However, Maryland is a hot trendy place to go with UA.

Randy maybe a average coach, but he runs a tight program, doesn't cheat on academics, the players love him, and parents trust him to educate their kids.
If you give him a lot of talent, he'll win.
