I know, a lot can happen between now and February, but if every verbal keeps his word and no one leaves the team unexpectedly, about how many scholarships are left ?

Same as every year...as many as Flood needs.

The math never adds on for me. I count 10 Rutgers players that will graduate after this season and I have to assume a few may not be scholarship players such as the 2 punters (although I don't know if Gleeson or Roth are on scholarship or not). Regardless, how big is this 2016 class going to be with only 10 players graduating?

Plus injuries, transfers, 5th years not be invited back and the answer as many as Flood needs.

Yeah I get some players will transfer, they'll be some injuries and Flood may not invite back, I stilll have a tough time understanding how this equates to 10-12 extra scholarships for Class of 2016 compared to the small graduation rate. In addition, on top of a 25 size class for 2015 (24 minus Gopre).

Additionally, there are some Juniors and RS Juniors that may opt for the NFL draft. Longa may be one of them. I believe we also have some graduate students coming in that only have one year scholarships.

I don't know how they do it either but every year we take more than we thought we could. The conversation is as predictable as a BAC "favorite holloween candy" thread come October.

We add a schollie when Kraut left, and I bet there are a half a dozen more that I forgot.

I would say the best guess of our class would be around 20-22.

We are up to 13! I am guess injuries to a couple of players that have not been able to get on the field and compete may further work the math as they, unfortunately, may not be able to continue their careers on the field. Each year we seem to have 1 or 2 players impacted in that way.

Blue is another.
