Stayed up for the whole game, was so excited as we stretched it to 6 in OT.

But having been a Rutgers fan for so long. I fully expected the last shot to go down, or someone to foul with .1 left. I am just that trained to expect the worst.

So it was so much easier going to sleep at 1:50 AM with the W.

Dylan was a monster, but we don’t win without Williams and Acuff either. Acuffs boards were a pleasure to see.

I’ll admit I couldn’t stay up and watch the second half. I was way too tired after waking up at 5:30 AM yesterday Luckily I recorded 3 episodes of Modern Family after the game to watch the finish this morning As Rutgers fans we needed that one

Yep, felt the same way. I figured they would give the ball to the hot hand, but was a bit surprised they did not go for the FG. Maybe they were too worried about the time being too little to try it. But, anyone driving to the basket would probably have been fouled and they would get the 2 foul shots.

Yeah, when ND was getting ready to inbound the ball with 3.9 seconds left in OT, I said to my son “Get ready to have your heart ripped out again.”

Allocco missed that shot by maybe two inches, so our hearts live to fight another day.

That's why Seth Davis 's comments before the game and at halftime proved so bogus. He was so wrong about RU having no other players who could contribute to a win.
