I'm happy he is back for us! No doubt, but I'm happy for him to give himself a chance to break the all time Big Ten record for kickoff returns for touchdowns. He is currently tied for first with 4 TD'S along with Deandra Cobb ( Michigan State) and Soloman Vault (Northwestern). He also has 2 punt returns for TD'S where he is tied for 15th. 1 more of those and it gets him to 6th and 2 more gets him to 3rd. 6 is the Big Ten record, so I doubt he will break that. I just want him to get 1 more kick off return for a TD (which I believe he will) and break the record for himself and every Die Hard Rutgers Fan and put RU's name in the Big Ten record books! I do not think that is asking to much! Do you? Just kidding. Go get em Janarion!

The challenge will be most teams will plan to kick the ball away from Janarion.
Unless their Kicker can send it deep into the Endzone; believe or not a lot of FBS Kickers can do this on a regular basis; they will probably kick away and short of Janarion.

Janarion Grant is awesome and seems like a good kid. Not a lot of talking, never in trouble, no showboating, slamming his helmet or anything like that. Makes gigantic plays whenever we need one. I wish we could clone him.

He is 2 returns away (punt or kickoff) from owning the NCAA FBS record for kick returns.

Yes ... he has 8 KO and PR for TD in his career. The record is 9 - by a guy from Lamar ... who had 9 KO and PR for TD's all in ONE season, as best I can tell ... that is pretty sick.

Yes, that is sick! No matter what competition level you are playing at. To do that in 1 year is just nuts! What year did the kid from Lamar do this?

Even teams kicking it away from Grant helps us. If they can't boot it out of the end zone, they have to squib it, giving us good field position.

Does he have any younger brothers?

Yes... the Squib should be returned not matter what to give us good field position.
And as for Punting any directional away from Grant should get us decent field position as it rolls out of bounds.
