JORDAN PAGANO: MALE BIG TEN MEDAL OF HONOR

A two-time national qualifier, Jordan Pagano finished his collegiate career with 81 varsity wins. As a sixth-year senior in 2019-20, the South Brunswick, New Jersey native posted a 22-9 record with wins over six ranked foes to secure an at-large selection to the NCAA Championships, having also competed at the national tournament in 2017. His impressive season included victories over three top-10 opponents, as Pagano concluded the year ranked No. 15 in the country by FloWrestling. Also a three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection, Pagano was named a 2019-20 NWCA Scholar All-American – the second time in his career he has appeared on the prestigious list. Along with his performance on the mat and in the classroom, Pagano has volunteered with various organizations throughout the Rutgers University community, which includes time with Embrace Kids, Rutgers Dance Marathon, Soles4Soulds, Saturday's in Motion, Eden Autism and Elijah's Promise Soup Kitchen.

Congrats to Jordan! If that award covers all male B1G sports teams, that is really a huge honor when you consider how many other male athletes were in the running.

There is not a better representative of Rutgers Athletics than Jordan. Seems that 3 out of the last 6 years, a Rutgers Wrestler won this award. What are the kids drinking in the wrestling room?

Congratulations my friend, a son the Rutgers family can be very proud of, Mom & Dad have done a Great job.
