Right now he is averaging 8.1 points per game and 6 rebounds. At this point in time, before entering big play, he almost has the number of rebounds he grabbed in all of last year. He had made a nice leap.

Still not seeing a lot of team basketball, so I don't know what it will be worth, but it is great to see him doing better on the boards. That is one thing I thought would be important for him to do this year.

Foreman definitely has improved this season. If he could finish in the paint just a little bit better he would be scoring 4 - 6 more points per game. The last game he made a beautiful spin move and he finished but he also missed easy layups.

other than FTs I would like to see him less single minded. when he wants to take it to the basket, he's going to the basket come hell or high water--whether its there for the taking or not. He has some decent skills just needs to reel in the enthusiasm a bit.

Hit the nail on the head. Crushed it! This team and foreman are still very all about me minded. To be honest, I think we have decent players on this team. They lose a lot though because they rarely think of anyone else besides themselves. Williams could use some more assist. Same with foreman. Sanders is the only selfless player it seems. Until that change happens, we will lose.

I don't think he's doing it to be selfish. I think he does it because he hasn't developed his game.

The kid definitely has some skill, and does have good footwork. Strange to see someone with the ability to get to the hoop that doesn't have the touch around the rim. I think having Freeman playing with him helps (so hopefully he comes back). I would like to see his FG% with and without Freeman, because I think he plays much better with him on the court and doesn't force it as much.

Bottom line...young player with a lot of upside and he is a good solid piece for the future. We need some shooters to help open up the middle and make his job a little easier.

For sure. He is a lefty. If he hit his free throws he would be in a good spot. Lots of potential on this team. Has to stop being to individual though.

I don't think its necessarily selfish, but there is a lot of that in basketball right now. AAU/etc. When you don't keep your head up, and keep driving when you run into a double team- that is a player who doesn't look to use his team mates.

I think this team has 10-15 wins in them. But unless they buy into a selfless mode, they probably won't reach it.

I like the guy so don't get me wrong. His rebounding has to be better. We got nobody else in there to do it. He has gotten a bit better based on my eye test but if he could just finish better. (well the whole team suffers from inability to finish and to share the ball)

His offensive rebounding metrics are the same, but he has almost doubled his defensive rebounding numbers. Give him credit.

2 biggest questions....
1. Who can he guard?
2. Does his offensive game fit in to what we try to do?

I see him more of a spark type of player, not a flame.

I give him a lot of credit. His rebounding has certainly improved. Still, like Patrick said, he drives looking down and not for his team mates.

To be completely honest, I am not sure what we are trying to do. We have a lot of good basketball players. Laurent, Foreman, Williams,etc-but they do not show signs of playing together. Therefore, it is no surprise when we lose.

Tough to get assists when your bigs either can't even catch the ball or miss gimmes under the basket.

Tough to get assist when you are not scoring, period.

Still, foreman is a player. He draws attention because he is big and can move well. If he doesn't look to pass though when that attention comes, the teams potential is minimized. Same goes for Williams. Two great individual players, have yet to see them commit to team play.

Foreman is, at times, a beast for us.

I do not agree that he is selfish. In fact, I can think of only three back-door assists this year and Foreman has at least one if not two of them.

I would post him up more at the foul line, facing the basket. He has good vision and can take his man off the dribble if necessary. His size and strength and lefthandedness make him a tough matchup for any defender.

Similar to Daniels, he knows he can beat his man to the hole on most possessions, so he goes for it, but lacks the finishing touch right now.

He actually has a decent stroke but he needs more confidence, which I believe will come from shooting hundreds of shots per day in practice. He also has to shoot without thinking, which is why he gets screwed up at the charity stripe.

In the meantime his defensive rebounding has been stellar and the rest of his defensive game will continue to improve.

He's only midway through his sophomore season, so I'm extremely high on Foreman and what he can give us for two and a half more years.

In my post I gave plenty of credit. Not trying to call him out, just saying-we need more kids who want to make an extra pass.

Higgins.....Williams or Daniels?

Both can make more passes. In general though, a lot of our low assist comes from not being a great shooting team. I am for this program as much as anybody, but for the good of the guys themselves, I think they have to play together more. Pass more. Head up when you dribble, and pass the ball when you get a double team.

I actually think this team is passing and running a much more efficient offense then I have seen in years. We just are not executing.

- Williams needs to hit the outside shot period. He needs to be the outside threat that he came in as.
- Daniels needs to keep his head up. IMO he is the quickest guy we have, but he needs to use that talent and move the defense and pass to create open lanes. I like the aggressiveness, but he could take a page from Sanders and pass a bit more.

No doubt. Daniels could be a great player. I am hoping he uses his skills to his advantage. He is another player that seems to drive without much intention of doing anything else. As quick as he is, he can be sometimes too fast and lose the ball or try to over dribble.

First game I am getting to tonight since SH. Should be a great time!

I agree. He actually brings it on offense, great effort, plays hard.

For some constructive feedback :-), on defense I don't believe he was taught well in high school. He doesn't stay low....too upright, and winds up getting a lot of fouls holding once he gets beat. (BTW the not staying low is (well was since no one is left) is something all our bigs have a bad habit of (Lewis, Diallo).

Jordan needs to get him to stop putting the ball on the ground everytime he gets it. The ball movement will be good on the perimeter until it gets in his hands sometimes. He needs to realize you don't need to make a play everytime you get the ball.

Absolutely. Again, team needs to play together. Especially foreman.

Or when he runs into a double, pass to an open man. Basketball is not rocket science.

The game is about players who can execute- and that is recruiting the right player to save you years of headaches.Lol.
