I think RU will probably win by about 12 points, taking 6 or 7 of the 10 bouts w Ashnault and maybe Theobold getting some bonus points. Best bout of the day will be #13 Nick Gravina going up against #7 Nate Jackson. Hope to see Paetzel get back in the win column, but he's an underdog here. Correnti and Gross probably favored. Gross and Correnti really starting to come on.

125-Brandon Paetzell 12-6 (4-3) vs Elijah Oliver 10-4 (6-3)

133- Scott DelVecchio 15-9 (5-4) vs Garrett Pepple 10-7 (6-6)

141- #6 Anthony Ashnault 20-3 (12-1) vs Cole Weaver 8-12 (4-8)

149- #14 Ken Theobold 16-5 (9-2) vs Chris Perez* 8-5 (7-3)

157 - #18 John Van Brill (18-8 (9-3) vs Jake Danishek 17-8 (10-4)

or - Anthony Giraldo 15-6 (2-2)

165- Willie Scott 12-8 (4-4) vs Bryce Martin 13-5 (8-5)

or- Anthony Pafumi 9-10 (1-1)

174- Jordan Pagano 21-7 (3-1) vs Devin Skatzka 21-6 (11-3)

or - Phillip Bakuckas 11-6 (5-5)

184 - #13 Nick Gravina 16-5 (9-3) vs No. 7 Nate Jackson** 24-2 (14-0)

197- Matt Correnti 12-8 (7-4) vs Norman Conley 8-9 (0-4)

285- Razohnn Gross 9-7 (4-5) vs Fletcher Miller 7-14 (4-10)

Scouting Indiana: The Hoosiers are 8-6 overall and 1-4 in the Big Ten Conference entering a pair of weekend duals against Maryland Friday night and Rutgers Sunday. Indiana picked up its first Big Ten dual win of the season on Jan. 27 at Northwestern by a 23-14 final.

No. 7-ranked 184-pounder Nate Jackson is the leader in the IU lineup with a 24-2 record and an All-American accolade to his name last season. The only other returning Hoosier NCAA qualifier is 125-pounder Elijah Oliver. Chris Perez, EIWA runner-up in 2015, is a transfer from Princeton and qualified for the NCAA Championships once.

I wish I could go or watch – – please keep us up-to-date

Starting at 174, Pagano lost to him earlier this year.

174- Jordan Pagano 21-7 (3-1) vs Devin Skatzka 21-6 (11-3)

174- 2nd period- Still 2-0 but Pagano ridden out entire 2nd period, lost his RT.

174- Final Pagano wins 2-0 ! Big win, holds off the TD , nice win ! RU leads 3-0

184 - #13 Nick Gravina 16-5 (9-3) vs No. 7 Nate Jackson** 24-2 (14-0) Now up

197- Corrneti a take down leads Hinz 2-0. Now back points 4-0 ! IMO Correnti looks much bigger than Hinz. Stall call on Hinz. End 1st

Gravina is nasty and relentless, Jackson just knew how to escape.

Would love to see Correnti get bonus points here. But first he has to make sure he wins.

I like the way Gross escapes--he is quick and looks like a trapped lion with his intensity.

285- 2nd - Gross leads 1-0 on a quick escape. Then more snoozefest.

125- final- Paetzell loses 8-3. RU up 10-6 in the match

Now Intermission

Can't say enough about Pagano today...avenging a loss in Midlands. Correnti and Gross are growing up very fast as well. I think we put the Hoosiers away early in the 2nd half with our best wrestlers about to hit the mat.
