Kris Bryant is not accurate unless I am misreading this. He was drafted number 2 behind pitcher Mark Appel. I remember there being debate that year about who to go with.

Bryant got drafted twice actually. Got drafted in the 18th round of 2010 right out of high school, but didn’t end up signing and went to college. Then he got drafted 2nd overall in 2013.

IIRC @zappaa saw him work out with a team during spring training after he reached the NFL. A solid ballplayer.
