More players transferring?

I could see the arguement where we wouldn’t want a Jacob Young on offense on our team.

jacob’s value is what he brings to the team defensively.

If you could theoretically take off Young so he never plays an offensive possession and substitute any other Rutgers guard for his minutes maybe we win 2 games if we’re lucky the offense would be atrocious beyond belief.

Minnesota, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan State all have more individual talent than RU put on the floor this season. It is not to say it was a large margin or difference but coaching/system and matchups are what usually are small separate items per team....

Indiana lost 3 times to Rutgers.

Indiana beat Iowa twice....

Iowa beat Michigan State twice....

RU beat Minnesota twice....

RU and MSU split 2 meetings.

Maryland beat Minnesota twice....

Maryland beat Michigan State twice.

Minnesota defeated Michigan Iowa and Ohio State (RU, Maryland, Indiana and Michigan State did not do much against those 3 teams).

All of these criss cross matchups are either drastically different matchups or huge coaching discrepancies. It is not a much coaching as it is how your best players style of play, impacts your team over an extended period of time. If your best player is a guard and is dominating the ball and taking the most shots, you have very little chance of winning against similar competition or better teams.

Come on Hawk. All of those teams did not have more individual talent than this year's Rutgers team. I know you always want to emphasize your points, but you are not always right.

Just like you did not think that Michigan is that good or that they don't play good defense. You were and are so far off and Michigan keeps proving you wrong. Michigan's team defense is real good and the way they move the ball on offense, make it a pleasure to watch. Just like some people on the board didn't think Dickinson was any good.

Best of Luck,
Groz

Young's ability to get easy buckets and create for himself and others penatrating was huge for us offensively. We looked our best when Young was cooking. His defense is phenomenal but offensively he was especially important on a team like Rutgers that lacked people who could create off the dribble and get their own shot or get to the rim and finish
