Our defensive and our rebounding. I said before the game if our defense and rebounding was there, we'd win 70-63. I was close and their last two baskets or so were garbage baskets.
On defense the steals and the blocks are just...awesome? We're so aggressive. We go straight to the glass and that's how, even with our atrocious shooting early in the game, we managed to get PSU in major foul trouble and that had a huge impact on the game.
We miss Geo on the steals side and many other aspects as well, but others will step up and while we can't replace him, he has confidence in his teammates and we should too.
The blocks...man don't get me started. The rebounds, especially offensive...growing up we were never a great rebounding team. This is so refreshing.
I prefer our style of play than a more octane offense and relying on the 3. We're really balanced and that's why I think we can go a far way this year. We're young too, which means the future is beyond bright.
