NCAA Round of 64 discussion

Mother of God....omg one of the biggest shots in NCAA basketball history

this game will live in folklore if they hang on......deep 3 to take lead after being down 10 with 4 minutes left...unbelievable...13-0 run

please win this

Dang it I missed another good one. Another 3 going down and a sweet 16 out on top of the 1 elite 8. Nice upsets early on. What's with the scooter?

this is why the NCAA tournament blows bowl season away...nothing can beat this, nothing can beat the little guy beating the goliath and all the emotion

the Big 12 is going down in flames...Texas rallied toward halftime but oh my god this conference is crapping the bed

he tore his Achilles I think last week in the celebration when they won their conference tourney

lol at the women who tried to make sure he didn't get out of the chair or hurt again

what an incredible day for basketball...how deep was that 3...it must have been 26 feet out.

I wouldn't know, I was waiting for a replay lol. They mentioned falling of the chair and some awesome shot but no replay only reaction.

Finally just saw it.

Better hope he doesn't tear the other one celebrating this victory haha.

Wow 13-0 run to win by 1. Baylor has to be kicking themselves like crazy losing a game like that.

I think Steve Lappas is one of the best color guys around. Really like his perspective as a coach in announcing

Baylor had this game...they had a 3 point lead and tried to go up 5 on a layup instead of pulling it back out..to compound the issue then they went for a steal playing D on the rebound and got called for a foul...stupid stupid stupid

some of the worst end game play by a supposed talented school that I have seen. In no way does this take away from the heart and chop that Georgia State did but if Baylor just played one play smarter, they win, also their top free throw shooter just has to make a free throw at the end of the game...that's just abysmal

Nice parlay for Baylor: Blowing a huge lead in the Cotton Bowl to Michigan State and a double digit lead to Georgia State today.

Hilarious ...

Georgia State junior guard R.J. Hunter could declare for the
NBA draft after the NCAA tournament, but his dad doesn't think it's a
good idea. Of course, Ron Hunter has a pretty good reason to hope R.J.
stays in school: he's also Georgia State's coach.

R.J. had plenty of offers from big-time programs, but he decided to
play for his dad at Georgia State. Now, Ron has to recruit him all over
again.
"I'm going to buy him a car and give him a lot of money and new
clothes when we're done with this. I can illegally recruit him and get
away with it," Ron said, according to USA Today.
"His mom is going to get something really special too so she can be on
my side and we can kind of sweet talk him into coming back."

Is that logic a bit flawed, though? Once R.J. goes pro he'll have plenty of money of his own.

Good one, I forgot about that.

Butler creating some breathing room and another B12 team in Texas possibly in trouble. Still lots of time though.

this Big 12 could go down in flames. I am not impressed by Kansas or Oklahoma this year and they both have pretty tough 2nd round matchups possibly. Oklahoma State has been tanking the season. WVU gets a dangerous Buffalo. I mean we could see the whole conference gone before the Sweet 16

its sort of predicatable to see the team everybody dissed getting in...UCLA simply going out and proving their worth. Tennessee did that last year.

Xavier jumped all over Ole Miss early but I expect the Rebels to get back into it

Texas got it to 1 but couldn't get over the hump, Butler getting some breathing room

and lookee here SMU has closed to within one with UCLA

Butler has this

the Big 12 is going down in flames....0-3 today

SMU now up on UCLA in another good one. Just an amazing day of competitive down to the wire games. Only the Arizona game was a blowout

B12 going 0-fer so far and of course that was the "upset" I picked. Certainly not repeating last years performance. Well goes to show how much of a fluke that was for me.

Larry Brown trying to take down his old school, "circle of life."

I think that was his first college HC job IIRC.

Oh huge TO there by SMU. UCLA with a decent chance to tie or win now.

Goal tending are you kidding? That ball was off target. That looked like SMU got robbed. That looked like an airball that got tipped up.

Arizona dominates and UCLA wins. As stated previously. PAC 12 way underrated!

wow what a very questionable call...but SMU blew that big comeback they made

a very crazy tournament right now. Only one blowout of the 6 games as the rest all came right down to the wire

Xavier up a dozen on Ole Miss but I would be surprised if the Rebels do not make a run. Ohio State down 7 to VCU...I wasn't a big fan of the Buckeyes this year

Watching the Care Bears and the nutless bovines lose in the first round is satisfying!!

looks like that run is not coming from Ole Miss tonight....good start for the Big East

meanwhile OSU is on quite a run and now leads VCU by 3....going to root for our power 5 conference mates here

I heard UAB was the youngest team in the tournament.

Xavier sure laid the hammer on Ole Miss and now get Georgia State. I think everyone is going to be rooting for Georgia State here, its a game that they can win especially if their star player returns

VCU responding to OSU coming back, this one will go to the wire. Not bad 6 close games out of 8

That goal tending call was awful! In what world does the ref say that shot has any chance of going in?
All politics aside the part that just annoyed me the most was the kid Alford making the smirk as he gets congratulated by his teammate right after the call...as if he actually hit the game winning shot...more like you threw up a terrible shot and didn't even coming close!
It's also pretty ridiculous that this is one of the rules that refs aren't allowed to review. So hypothetically, they go to the monitor to see whether it was a 2 or 3pointer and the ref sees that he's completely botched the call and wants to reverse himself, he can't. There is something wrong with that scenario.

Heard on the radio that only .07% of the brackets on ESPN challenge were still perfect after only the first three games of the day. Crazy early tourney action

VCU was a sexy pick to go far for alot of people but the Big 10 looks to flex its muscles here...vcu ball down 3 with 23 seconds left

OSU was actually one of my "upsets" that might come through after Texas/Ole Miss failed. Thad Matta usually is pretty good when he gets to the tournament. Usually can win at least a game or 2.
