Even though UM (and Iowa) lost tonight, their fans will continue to look down their nose at Rutgers. This is why it's important to take them in the alley and beat them like they stole something from us. I feel Rutgers has as good of a chance to win the B1G this year. Every team has major flaws, and those warts show their ugly head often. Our defense can help us more than any year to overcome the perceived top teams in the B1G.
Iowa board meltdown is in full effect after that one. Can't say I blame them.

In the past, I would agree Iowa is at its best when they have its back against the wall. This year seems different. They don't have a "go-to player" who can carry them. Iowa doesn't have the same ability to score at will as the teams of the past. Combine that with a team that is worse than ever playing defense is a recipe for disaster

Plus , Nebraska completely outhustked Iowa and they looked much slower moving the ball than the past ….Iowa looked like a disnibterestsd team that gets that way when they don’t see the ball go in the basket…

Fouls were about even.. usually drives me crazy when Iowa's whiney coach gets calls. Especially when the calls are not even and the opponent is playing better... (sound familiar?).

That's an overreaction, but they won't be favored until that home game against Northwestern unless they start winning games.
But surely they have at least on game against Indiana?

Most, if not all, teams go through ups and downs. Will they really finish with less than 6 wins?
They may wish to rethink the sweep of RU, especially at the RAC…there’ll be no bank-in miracle shot to save their sorry a$$es
I saw that prediction after the Eastern Illinois game and thought, good luck with that, but wasn't going to post it on their board. I'm pretty sure that poster would change that prediction today.
People are going to have to learn the name on the front of the jersey doesn’t matter this year in the Big Ten or else they will be in for some surprises.

Exactly right! They are tougher than usual. Iowa and Michigan may be easier than usual. Hate to whine but hate having to beat MSU at the Garden. Giving away home court advantage.
