Rutgers wins and goes from 19 to 21

Nebraska loses and goes from 165 to 158

The loss helped them because we are higher ranked, and the win hurt us because they are lower ranked.

Wondering if our NET, based on yesterday’s game, will improve if Nebraska starts winning?

In other words, is the impact a dynamic thing, that changes as the year progresses?

Yes. Constantly changing.

I doubt there is much, if any, statistical significance of moving a couple of spots in the rankings.

Constantly changing. I suspect that we should be cheering on the OOC opponents more than, say Nebraska. What happens in conference play is a zero-sum game. Nebraska might go up, but someone else goes down.

how great is it that it will be February we can still win the Big Ten regular season (and Tourney)... Go Knights!

Kenpom and BART update through out the day as games end. You will see Rutgers move and up and down a bit on days they don’t play based on these results

The same thing could theoretically happen with NET but it only updates each morning

Yes, the impact is dynamic.

And if Nebraska starts winning, that effect is offset with the B1G opponent who lost to Nebraska (we play both teams).
