No. 17/18 Rutgers Men’s Lacrosse Opens Big Ten Play Sunday Hosting No. 13/11 Johns Hopkins

No one wants to shoot because they can't beat their man. They are overplaying Ross and sliding to him immediately leaving other attackman one on one opportunities with space. And they cant do anything with it. Our entire first midfield gets polled.

Credit Hopkins staff. They saw what most of us are seeing. Our attack is just simply not dynamic enough. IT's that simple.

And notice their slides and/or doubles when Knobloch has the ball. Very efficient.

100% this is on the attack play. D can hold its own if we had some offense from attack.

Defense is a disaster. Nothing left to say.

Our offense consists of Scott and our mids going one on one. They either shoot or dump it off and someone else redodges.

Hopkins is simply sliding early from the crease and filling adjacent. We are not getting nearly enough off ball movement. As soon as the slide comes they have to be dumping off and then looking for the cutter following the adjacent slide. I’d consider going to a 2-2-2 and work some games off the crease. We’re not making them pay for sliding early.

I’ve never seen a buzzer beater like that in lacrosse or hockey
Amazing

Big goal for Kulas. And the team. Let’s see if they can carry it into the second half.

Hopkins had a chance to really put their foot on our throat but didn’t.

Good individual effort but we have to be looking for the dump off on the doubles. Kulas was wide open on the crease.

Colin just ran by his man. Bad shot though.

Danger time. Melendez looking like he did last year all of a sudden.
