And a few more of the sunshine soldiers fall away. Look at Minnesota in the NBA with some of the best young talent around--Wiggins, Karl Anthony Towns, Rubio--takes time. Just love how everyone is knocking the coach. For not turning Gettys into Dwight Howard or Freeman into Karl Malone or Corey Sanders into Clyde Frazier? Get real. We have a couple of promising recruits, and we don't lose much. By the time you guys get old enough to know who Clyde Frazier was, we will be better.

True if he can develop a jumper he could be a nice player. And just to re-emphasize, I think he is bad passing into the post, he consistently turns it over in that specific situation, but at other times I don't notice regularity in terms of turnovers.
For sure. As fans, we need Laurent, Omoyuri, and Freeman to develop a jumper. Right now, they do not have it.
I heard to improve shooting the team has started playing games of HORSE at the end of practice. So far they haven't been able to finish any or determine a winner. Good gimmick anyhow.
Freeman is 2 for 3 from 3 this year :basketball: AND last year when he was hurt I was watching Laurent in street clothes knock down 3 after 3 from way beyond the arc.
Gettys is Gettys (I know, profound) but seriously he is who he is. My only knock on Gettys is I can't figure out why a player like that didn't get himself in better shape if he wanted to play as a 5th year senior. He is skilled but he is very overweight and I think if he was in better shape, it could make a huge difference. The amount of times he is stuffed by smaller players under the basket is amazing.

Anyone with a week of practice can hit tons of shots. Can you do it with a hand in your face, tired, frustrated.
