OC Wish List/ Suggestion Thread

Listening to XM College I didn't realize how many schools need an OC yet.
UCLA
Oregon
Bama
Notre Dame
Western Kentucky
Rutgers
Pitt
Houston
There's probably more I'm sure. That's list off top of my head.

Not OC position but ND is likely to fill their DC position with NJ/South Brunswick native Mike Elko from Wake Forest.

According to new Dunleavy Slideshow: (only listing new names and info, not ones already posted):

1. Ash has spoken to Jerry Kill but not sure in what capacity
2. Matt Limegrover
3. Glenn Thomas
4. Travis Trickett is out-hired by Georgia State

Keith Sargean't basement is rockin':

The more I read about Joe Osovet, the more I like him:
  • Local ties: is from this area and likely has pre-existing relationships with regional teams/players
  • Scheme fit: run-first, spread offense with built-in run/pass options
  • Teacher: He is a familiar face on the football clinic circuit
  • Experience: Has low level (JUCO) HC experience, but specializes in offense
  • Apparently was previously recommended to Ash last year by an OSU staff-member

Not sure if he'd want to come east or if we'd look to the west but how about Beau Baldwin Eastern Washington HC. His teams seem to perform well in the FCS and he's cranking out strong offenses on that level. He makes around 200k. I think he's interviewed for FBS positions but fell short. An intermediate step as OC somewhere at this level could improve his chances.

Something similar to Moorhead and a reverse Chip Kelly from one coast to the other.

Whoever gets the offensive coordinator job, there will be calls for him to be fired after the first game by 50% of the people on this board.
First game is home is it will be 100% of people logged on. It's the same 50% who always complain and don't attend games.
