Just went on a 12-0 run to go up. MSU not hitting shots and being outhustled by OSU, who can win this game if MSU doesn't buckle down. Would hate to go into MSU with them having just lost.

If OSU wins this game there is 0% chance of MSU sleep walking on Wednesday night. Izzo will be screaming at them on the plane ride home, on Monday on Tuesday and up until game time on Wednesday. I would not want to be a spartan player if they end up losing this game.

OSU is 12-4 and 3-0 in the B1G. It will still be an upset but OSU is a very good team and they're at home. And remember even we played MSU tough for most of our game with them.

Didn’t see this coming. Was still operating under the assumption tOSU wasn’t for real. But when I saw the line at 6.5 I paused.

OSU is the big surprise of the year..already got some road wins this year in league...the removal of Matta has payed huge dividends for a stagnant program.

Mike, I sure hope you are correct. We will be going into a hornets's nest on Wednesday.

Besides Holtzman having a great game plan , where their offensive players getting the ball on the block or on the wing, they have their star back, Bates-Diop who was unconscious today and had a career high 32 on very few shots. He shoots over anyone shorter than his 6'10 frame
and has the handle to dribble around slower defenders and dunk on them. Plus their guards hit their threes today. They would have beaten any team in the country today.
Our timing is just wonderful as we now get Michigan State on Wednesday and then just for good measure we get Guess Who? Yes , Ohio State right after. The start of this Big 10 season is just brutal.

OSU stumbled early while adjusting to a new coaching staff. But, they have a lot of talent and are probably now the 3rd best team in the conference, especially with the injuries and suspension at MN. Just shows how truly brutal our first 6 games in conference are. We play MSU (for the second time) on the road and then we get a red hot OSU at home. I don’t see us having much of a chance in either game.

I would rather play a wounded MSU, but I am an eternal optimist.

Agreed. I thought RU had a decent shot next Sunday for a win, but after watching some of this game, I'm thinking it will be an uphill battle and a real challenge. Hopefully this was a case of OSU playing their absolute best and we don't see a duplicated effort.

I think MSU smokes us after having played us once and after being as angry as a swarm of hornets after their embarrassing performance today. However, I could see OSU being a bit overconfident and if we can play hair-on-fire tight defense and frustrate them and they don't get hot shooting like today, then I see a close game and who knows who wins that at the RAC. I don't think an upset is a long shot.

Didn't see the game. As I said when we played MSU izzo cares about winning games in March.

He obviously didn't want this result, but I'll bet this loss makes them a better team in March.

Agree with Bac but essentially it's almost becoming an upset when you win on the road.

Example-----ND beats NC State by 25 at home on Wednesday without Colson and Farrell their 2 best players. NC State beats Duke Saturday in Raleigh.

I saw Colorado lose to Iowa a few weeks back but they get UofA and ASU this weekend at home and beat them both.

Agree on the excellent hire by OSU------those Butler guys can coach

Bottom line is that there are no easy B1G games for Rutgers home or away. The easy out of conference schedule was a cushion prior to reality of top competition .

We will still be playing with house money. Keep in mind that MSU will be under a lot more pressure than usual and that can play right into our hands if we can take advantage of it.
