I almost feel like turning this one off in favor of the football game. To avoid the pain and anguish that could be coming. These kind of games rarely end well for us on the road. I always thought that if anything it would be the offense that would cost us. Pitching(especially starting) has been rock solid throughout our season's turnaround.

More likely scenario is bottom 9 Mets have 1st and 2nd with one out. Get a run scoring single to get on the board and have 1st and 3rd. Alonso steps up to the plate and takes a 1st pitch fastball right down broadway. 2nd pitch he tries to pull a down and away slider and rolls one over to SS for a game ending double play.
It was an entertaining season. Way way better than I expected considering the start.
