OT: 2024 NY Mets Season Thread

It's cliche but my kids (8yo boy, 7yo girl) are staying up to watch the game.
Despite both playing baseball/softball they have never really watched baseball.
This week they have a little.
Then tonight I told them they could stay up and watch with no iPad distraction.
Been laying on the couch watching.
This seems like one of those "when I became a fan" moments if the Mets can pull this off.

Dude had one hell of a game- 2 hits and his walk to lead off the ninth. Not to mention that game ending DP that was pure magic defense...

Besides my kids and grandchild being born - and my wedding - and the Mets winning in 86 - I have never been so happy and proud to be a Mets fan !
