Phil Maton makes Aaron Heilman look like Cy Young.
Never seen a pitcher look so scared and look like he’s going to cry all the time on the mound.
He should have not been brought in with season on the line.
Maybe Reid Garrett or Megill should have been brought in

You know those 2 guys gave up home runs the last game right. Dodger hitters don't look at the most hittable pitches. They are ready for them and pounce. Don't foul them off either.
They all have other than Diaz and Stanek. He could have gone with Butto I guess.

If you’re a good reliever and a free agent , make sure your agents first call is to the Mets and Mr cohen.
He is going to pay top 💵💵💵 to get a bullpen.
Hopefully Cohen is motivated by how close they came and goes all out with lots of $$$ coming off the books on players no longer on the team.

LAD are tough and the clear favorites.
With Ownership / Stearns / Mendoza / the nucleus of the team / the budding stars / the farm system etc - the playoffs and deep playoff runs should become the norm !

I don't see the Yankees standing up to the Dodgers, but we shall see.
I don't know a single Mets fan that didn't claim that the Dodgers will handle the Yankees quite easily.
I don't see that happening. It should be a classic.
