They literally called him up yesterday on league special approval to replace Hamilton after his injury.Or that Boone was right in trusting in Leiter. Frankly, I didn't know he was even on the roster.

Do you really think Boone is making these decisions?? Need to learn more how the Yankees are run!!Really gotta question some of these Boone decisions.
If the Yankees win, it will be in spite of Boone, not because of him.
I'm guessing the lefty/righty thing.Why the F isn't he batting 4th behind Judge?
So stupid ass analytics. Walk Judge because Wells is an easy out. Does Stanton have problems with righties? LOL.I'm guessing the lefty/righty thing.
Soto - L
Judge - R
Wells - L
Stanton - R
Rizzo redeemed himself with that hit in the 9th otherwise his fielding gaffe was Buckner Part II. If Yanks lost because of that blunder you would see it replayed for eternity as a turning point in the series. He’s also showing his age when he gets terrible late breaks on those doubles Cleveland was crushing. Tough plays for sure but 5 years ago he snags those. You people are crazy if you think Rizzo is having a bad series. He's hitting .455 for god's sake.
Leiter is a Jersey guy from TRN and NJITThey literally called him up yesterday on league special approval to replace Hamilton after his injury.
Agree- seems the Yankees are all out analytic or nothing.Analytics are used differently by every team. Everyone uses different data. So they all use it but it's not the same. The biggest flaws the Yankees use is strikeouts are equal as all other outs. Second is they use a much older data then other teams. Matchups that happens over a season ago aren't used by many teams. Yankees also don't Boone to use his intuition. Everything is planned out by the geeks Cashman uses. None of them played baseball at any level.
I’m pretty sure they’ve been doing lefty righty lineups since the beginning of time.So stupid ass analytics. Walk Judge because Wells is an easy out. Does Stanton have problems with righties? LOL.
Fire Cashman!
Makes it worse. No thought or logic. No brainer for Stanton to bat 4th and protect Judge. D'uh.I’m pretty sure they’ve been doing lefty righty lineups since the beginning of time.

Gotta make lemonade with lemons for the rest of the season. Why does Judge need protection since you said he's a bum? Maybe they should bat Stanton lead off since you wanted to get rid of Torres? Wait....didn't you want to get rid of Stanton too? You have us all confused. Sounds like you want the entire FO fired and half the team cut in the middle of being 3-1 in the ALCS?
If you could have only one choice between firing Cashman and Winning the World Series this year but having to keep Cashman for another 5 years....what would you choose?
Can’t even get bat on the ball. Terrible swings.I've seen enough of Jazz Chisholm.
Cocky POS that can't back it up.
Add Wells to that list….at least at the plate.I've seen enough of Jazz Chisholm.

Wells seems like a good kid.Add Wells to that list….at least at the plate.
For sure. I’d add Rizzo & to a lesser extent Volpe. Surrounding cast is doing more than they have in the regular season.HOLY SHIT...the Big 3 and Gleyber delivered this post season so far!!!
Because Cashman is stupid. Why is Wells hitting with a LH pitcher???
Are the Yanks actually good or just beneficiaries of an awful AL this season? Probably doesn't matter, but we will learn more against the Dodgers.Overcame an awful lot of mistakes to win the series.
Think about the guff Rojas would have caught for sending Gleyber in the 1st inning!
To me...having Baltimore and Houston getting knocked out early really helped. Are the Yanks actually good or just beneficiaries of an awful AL this season? Probably doesn't matter, but we will learn more against the Dodgers.
They just won the AL pennant and you're wondering if they're actually good ?Are the Yanks actually good or just beneficiaries of an awful AL this season? Probably doesn't matter, but we will learn more against the Dodgers.
i dont watch a ton of baseball but I watched most of the games this series and was shocked how many errors/mistakes were made on plays that you learn at the little league level. Stuff like Trevino getting picked off or Rizzo fumbling the toss. There were so many blunders by both teams.Overcame an awful lot of mistakes to win the series.

If you have watched this team over the past 15 years, it’s crystal clear the damage Cashman and his pathetic analytics have done. This WS is in spite of that moron (and with a little luck as mentioned above). He used to just troll the Mets threads.... guess he got bored and is now purposely trolling the thread of the team he supposedly loves. Either that or has become so entitled as a fan he now will never be happy. Sorry, but a few others in this thread appear the same. 15 years between Pennants and the first reaction is "we suck".
As for me, big smile on my face last night - took the edge off after watching the game today against UCLA. Son called me from his apartment at RU after the final catch. Great to bond with my kids over sports! Go Yanks!! Hopefully RU Basketball this season as well!!
Cashman isn't going anywhere. Last night guaranteed that.If you have watched this team over the past 15 years, it’s crystal clear that damage Cashman and his pathetic analytics have done. This WS is in spite of that moron (and with a little luck as mentioned above).
Thrilled for many of the players. Praying for Hal to do the right thing with Soto. And yes, to fire Cashman.
