We don't license our guns here in Alaska. That's only required in Communist states.unlicensed guns are SERIOUS... potentially more serious than knocking over some local drug dealer.. but in the same FELONY ballpark.

Your former Governor was an expert on Communist states and guns.We don't license our guns here in Alaska. That's only required in Communist states.
She lives right down the road from me. I used to work with her ol man and her brother in law in the oil patch up north. She probably has a higher testosterone count than most New Englanders. She loves to hunt.Your former Governor was an expert on Communist states and guns.

Regardless of how she carried herself and/or was portrayed in the media, she seems like a fun woman to hang out with. She lives right down the road from me. She turned into a snob after she won the governor election. She used to be a blast. I can remember her winning a wet t-shirt contest at the Call of the Wild bar back in the day. She had some big ol titties. Her ol man is pretty laid back and his brother still stops by my place once in a blue moon to shoot the shit. He's a recovering alcoholic ...part eskimo and they aren't good at handling their booze.Regardless of how she carried herself and/or was portrayed in the media, she seems like a fun woman to hang out with.
Sounds like a hoot. So I'm guessing you work in oil? Do you make it down to Seattle for the games? Where are the other Husky fans on our board, or were you elected the sole representative to deal with us on Scarlet Nation? She turned into a snob after she won the governor election. I do pipeline maintenance in the oil patch ... when there's work that is. Oil prices tanked and so did our economy. I haven't been to a Husky game since the latest stadium renovation and it sucks. I screwed up and married a Russian and she cleaned me out so right now I'm in survival mode until work picks back up at the union hall. The Washington boards kind of sucks because there's a crapload of homers on there so I usually post in a few PAC-12 Facebook groups ... and they're pretty X-rated for the most part.Sounds like a hoot. Well, there you have it. Shut the thread down.
Well first of all, their coach can't go incognito anywhere in the state of Indiana. Second, he wouldn't have to meet with a professor. The professor would have realized the student is a football player and given him an instant A.
I 've worked construction most of my life and I read that report along with quotes from eye witnesses. Every school within a hundred miles called practice that day due to high winds .... all but ND. To make matters worse Kelly allowed that kid to go up in a scissor lift. He's as guilty as if he held a loaded gun to that kids head and pulled the trigger.
Kid with the illegal gun should be put in jail for a long time. Make an example.
Shooting someone with an unlicensed handgun is worse than breaking someone's jaw over a parking spot.
Butler, the player who is accused of assaulting the cop, has been suspended indefinitely pending an investigation. Apparently there are conflicting stories between eye witnesses and the actual police report.
The 5 guys who were caught in car with pot and the gun. 4 are subject to internal discipline, likely 3-6 game suspension. The 5th, Max Redfield, the starting FS and former 5 star recruit, has been expelled from school. Apparently it was determined that it was he was the owner of the gun. The charge for the gun is apparently a misdemeanor in Indiana but ND has a policy against guns.
Do you take everything this seriously? It's apparent you know nothing about ND or the relationship between the academic side and the athletic department
Ty, as far as I know Redfield has not been expelled from school (though that's probably just a matter of time). However, Kelly did kick him off the team.
That's why he's constantly constipated!Do you take everything this seriously?
Not at all. If you were kidding or being ironic, I withdraw my comment. Hard to pick up irony on a message board.Do you take everything this seriously?
Yes. Beavis and Butt-Head joke about Ft. Dix-is that next to Fort Nuts?I do pipeline maintenance in the oil patch ... when there's work that is. Oil prices tanked and so did our economy. btw do you live in NJ? I did my basic training years ago at Ft. Dix.
But that's the narrative from the Ledger and nj.com all season long. Hiw can you blame this woman? All she knows are the headlines she reads. Not everyone follows the story through to the end.
You can blame her because she's speaking her mind without knowing all the facts! That's the problem in this world. People just want to state their opinions, rant and rave to release their frustrations in life without just cause. Just cause is not just reading the headlines of a paper that specifically put those headlines out to stir the mix. Some are weak minded and believe the papers are correct! They care to go no further in the investigation. She is her own victim for the posts against her and deserves whats coming to her. She ripped up some people and now people are ripping her up. Welcome to reality! But that's the narrative from the Ledger and nj.com all season long. Hiw can you blame this woman? All she knows are the headlines she reads. I never saw a poisonous snake up close other than the zoo until I got to Ft. Dix. Water moccasins, cottonmouths ... lots of sand and killer humidity and lighting storms. That was my first time to the east coast and those lightening storms were the worst.Yes. Beavis and Butt-Head joke about Ft. Dix-is that next to Fort Nuts?
My mother lived right next to the Lakehurst Naval Air Center, which is now a joint base with Ft. Dix--did not realize how far West Ft. Dix. was.
Does the "full story" suggest that the driver was stoned or the gun holder was stoned?
Of course there is no excuse for that behavior and throwing away the opportunity for a college education and the chance to play major college football. That behavior is nothing new though. Certain kids from high school age & up made it fashionable to drive & possess dope for at least the last fifty years. For the last 15 to 20 years, it has been fashionable for some kids to ride around with a gun. For those of you who think they should be made an example of, you are decades too late. Throwing them in prison for a lengthy stay is the equivalent of sending them to criminal graduate college. If they are not out selling drugs or using a firearm to commit a crime, I would settle for some strict punishment but also for some rigid positive education. I'm thinking along the lines of the old days when a judge might give a young man a choice of incarceration or the military. Better for a young guy who can redeem himself to learn something than rot in jail.Damn, makes me wish Boggs and his crew were stopped speeding with weapons and drugs "before" they committed the robbery. Would have made them much better people...
I'm exaggerating of course but listen to yourselves. There is no excuse for a college football player or anyone else to be driving around with drugs and a gun.
The entire point isn't if they should be doing hard time, that is silly in itself but...whoever owned the gun should be off scholarship. If the driver of the car was high, he should be treated the same way you would if I kid got a DUI.Of course there is no excuse for that behavior and throwing away the opportunity for a college education and the chance to play major college football. 1. I didn't imply someone was shot in Indiana.1. No one got shot in the ND incident.
2. Shooting someone (whether or not the handgun is licensed) is worse than breaking someone's jaw.
