Also, I didn't bother posting them, but most of the reviews of the investor day presentation, if that's what that tweet is referring to, seemed pretty negative. And the market seems to reflect that negative opinion.

Yeah we weren’t that good back then. It wasn’t until I got a summer job pumping gas while in school that I realized you could actually bring the old oil somewhere to dispose of.

If the guy designed or built the feature, then sure, be a little proud. But if all he did was buy a car? That makes his pride laughable. It's a car, and not even an expensive one. Any middle-class person can buy one.

Get the range of the Model X Plaid up to 500 real world miles per charge and I'd add it to the list of SUVs to consider, even if I think it looks kind of ugly from most angles. But at least it now comes with a steering wheel and the X has reasonably wide wheels.

OTOH, I can't help but wonder what's wrong with it that it isn't selling better and needed a price cut. And the 311 mile range (as configured) ain't even close to what I want.

Incidentally, I saw a Lucid Air something or other on 287N yesterday, around Piscataway. Looked pretty nice, IMO.

It was in the middle lane going very slowly, which is annoying. It was going slow enough that people were veering to the side lanes to avoid running into it. I mean, if you're going to go slow, get and stay in the right lane for gosh sakes. That shit puts everybody at risk.

I've seen that weird slow driving behavior before with a couple Model S's and now with this Lucid. Is this some sort of conserving range thing? A new car break-in thing? In all 3 cases, I think the cars were going under the speed limit.

I’m on 78 a lot and you have drivers that go 90 and drivers that go 60. Great combination.

Yep, I totally get that - and it makes sense because we don't have much of an opportunity to go 200 mph, here. For the record, my personal best is 164. :)

But that diminished high-end throttle response also manifests when accelerating from speed. And while the only Tesla I've ever driven is a top-end Model 3, my experience was very much that when accelerating at speed, it felt sluggish - as in my (at the time) tuned A3 was definitely quicker.
