OT- Great 'Friday' songs :

What phenomenal lyrics to that Rebecca Black song:

Yesterday was Thursday, Thursday
Today it is Friday, Friday (Partyin')
We-we-we so excited
We so excited
We gonna have a ball today

Tomorrow is Saturday
And Sunday comes after... wards

Really gives "A Day in the Life" and "Bohemian Rhapsody" a run for their money!

Wow, she really nailed that chronologically, didn't she?

Black Friday Rule- Flogging Molly. Saw them at the Stone Pony this summer, terrific (albeit short) set, but I could not believe they left this one out.

And the scarletnation.com board "Great Friday Songs" survey says:

Working For The Weekend by Loverboy
Out In The Street by Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band
Bang On The Drum by Todd Rundgren
Friday by Joe Jackson
Friday I'm In Love by The Cure
What's My Age Again? by Blink 182
This Beat Goes On/Switchin' To Glide by The Kings
Friday On My Mind by The Easybeats
Five O'Clock World by The Vogues
I Know A Place by Petula Clark
Here Comes The Weekend by Dave Edmonds

"New York Groove" - Ace Frehley

Not sure why exactly - maybe hearing it every Friday HH at Green Rock Hoboken for years - but this song just screams "it's Friday, I just got paid, time to hit the city right" to me!

That's when you finished off your jukebox selections with "Fox On The Run" by The Sweet and "Run, Runaway" by Slade.
Heh-heh-heh-heh!

These 'Friday' songs sound better with every Manhattan
