Another game that is still in danger due to letting an inferior opponent hang around. Not a good idea with a struggling bullpen. Are they gonna be able to tack on some runs in order to have a little margin for error?

Huge hit by Wright followed by huge Error by Wright

What the hell is with Travis' dropping to one knee swing?

Cespedes is back. Not so pull conscious and hitting the ball hard back through the middle and to right-center. And Murphy's bat just spits out line drives. Hard to see how he's not a .300 hitter. Good signs from Duda tonight also. Lineup is so much different when Grandy is getting on base at the top. He's been scuffling of late but had a nice at bat right there vs. a lefty.

LGM! Down to 3 ! Not sure it gets to Philly . Would be awesome to celebrate there but getting rotation set up is more important. Nice Rutgers win and mets clinch Saturday night

How can you not want Marvelous Marv?

Marv Throneberry, legend has it, was once crestfallen to discover that his birthday cake had been devoured by his Mets teammates before he got a piece — to which Casey Stengel cracked that “we wuz gonna give you a piece, Marv, but we wuz afraid you would drop it.” - See more at: http://www.faithandfearinflushing.com/2015/06/20/happy-birthday-jake/#sthash.p9vngrAY.dpuf

Out of the group mentioned above, I think Marv is a fine choice although somewhat by default. Wasn't Elster 21? Certainly not Fregosi since he will be remembered for only one thing and that is the return for Nolan Ryan.

I don't understand why nobody with the Mets has suggested ........the police ....do do do da da da is all I want to say to you

NL EAST CHAMPIONS !!!!!!
