I don't see Parnell being on the post season roster. A few pages back I tried to start a post season roster conversation but I guess too early. I will wait unitl its over to try again. It will be interesting to see how hard we go after home field advantage the final week. The lineups will tell and staff will tell.
The Mets and Nats both play around the same time today, but I just want to clinch it on the field.
Thanks to MLB network letting me see final out from SNY. Damn package showed Cinn broadcast

Been wondering about this. If this line up is accurate then I would question whether we are truly chasing the Dodgers for home field. I am not saying you go with all your starters but if someone like Tejada is your only semi-regular in the lineup then DeGrom better be lights out. Maybe Johny Monell can play too?
RU Feel - All the players are hung over........it's the right thing to do; it's the customary thing to do.......the regulars will be in the lineup vs Philly and Wash..and hopefully we don't lose to LA by 1 game...:)....though the Dodgers will probably do the same with their regulars when they clinch...Plus the backups will probably be more hungry and into the game than our regulars given the circumstances anyhows.......I'm ok with it for sure.......Hey it'll be reminiscing our lineup from June anyhows minus Mayberry.....:)

Kelly Johnson has never played a major league game at SS. But if the Mets need an emergency SS in the postseason, I guess he's it. No one other than Flores and Tejada has played an inning at SS this season, which is very unusual. By contrast, the Mets have used nine leftfielders.

I understand its tradition. Hungover? The game ended around 7pm and you have an off day Monday. With regard to rest, the season ends next Sunday and the first playoff game is not until Friday. I just think their chances against the Dodgers improve with a game 5 at Citi Field. You know you are going to see either Greinke or Kershaw in that game. I would not be surprised to see Greinke and Kershaw pitch two games if the circumstances warrant. One we need to go on 3 days rest.
No worries. You're playing a team that mailed it in 2 months ago. Is there a worse manager in baseball than Bryon Price ?
