Agreed for those two reasons specifically. They have a better lineup than the Mets do, but the pitching depth is not comparable. And we'd get home field because the Mets won the division and they entered via wild card.I'm by no means counting my chickens because I know Kershaw tonight will be no Brett Anderson but I saw a poll asking who you'd rather face in the NLCS St. Louis or Chicago? My answer would be Chicago because that would flip home field to the Mets. And I don't think they have quite as much pitching depth either.
The most important thing is that the Mets close it out tonight at home.
