OT:LET'S GO METS

Wright 4-25 in 2006 NLCS. 1-1000 in this years NLDS. Batting Duda fifth cause terry didn't want to hurt his feelings !?!?

TURNER 8-16 so far 8 for friggin 16
Dominic Smith is at least 2 years away but can't arrive soon enough. Stuck with Wright though because the Mets decided a good while ago that he was going to be the golden boy so they backed up the Brinks truck for him.

Why haven't the Mets realize this ump is not going to give anything even if it's an inch off the plate. Why do they continue to call for pitches 6 inches off the plate? The Dodgers are not going to chase it. Some of the blame for not adjusting has to fall on the pitching coach and d'Arnaud. Also, whatever happened to pitching inside to hitters?

David Wright is a BUM... there I said it. The Mets' media machine need to stop trying to put him in the same category as Derek Jeter.

Uribe was just a big loss going in. Duda or Wright could have warmed some pine...

So far this game has been all Murphy from the Mets side of things. Solid at bat by d'Aurnaud to put the ball in play to the OF though. Some of these other guys should have been paying attention.

Well at least Wright gets to lead us off in the 6th. Good news for him is he could never drain me more than he did in '06 playoffs. Hopefully he steps up, but not holding my breath.

Man, I just want a group of barbers to run out there, pin down Turner, and clean up that hair and beard.

Gutsy performance tonight by deGrom when he clearly did not have his best stuff, or even his second-best stuff. Man, he is a beast. I gotta figure Thor takes over in the 6th.

I won't complain if Wright makes the third out in the 6th inning.

Wright does get a little props that at least the one hit he's had in the series thus far was a huge knock.
