Coaches started the whole problem.Except this isn't really a coaches problem
Wait until the fkn season is over before moving on. Period.
But that would hurt the programs with all the power. So good luck.

Your right. Not like they had 25+ players opt out, or we don't see this in virtually every non playoff bowl game. But your right. It's the coaches faultCoaches started the whole problem.

Always love assclowns like you that point out typos and autocorrect on iPhone keypads. #douchebagYes, I am right. Thanks for conceding.
Although, right as I am, I don't own all rightness. (i.e. *you're)

Glad to see you are consistently a dick head. CongratsYeah, once is a mistake.
Twice is proof you really are as stupid as your limp argument.
Note the correct use of "your" for use in training whatever bad AI is behind your posts.
Likewise.Glad to see you are consistently a dick head. Congrats
They should have only one transfer move. Have to stop this insanityIt's sad. But what they fought for
College sports is a joke and people don’t realize what’s really going on. Look at the transfer portal numbers = insane. You have teams that over-recruit only to then tell a bunch of freshman they are no longer wanted. Then you have players that only care about $$$ and will go to the highest bidder. It’s in all sports. Baseball is one of the worst for players because the poor kids that get shown the door after working hard all summer and fall don’t even get to make it to spring. Then, they can’t even transfer anywhere D1 to play in the spring because the baseball rules are BS. So they have to go JUCO and commit for 1-2 years. You even have HS soccer kids that were committed for almost two years getting phone calls on signing day that their offer is rescinded - and some were scheduled to leave school early after Xmas break. But nobody will call out the coaches and process because they fear being black-balled.Unintended free agency portal consequence.
Non Power conference schools have no chance of continuity or developing their best players anymore.
Too bad
Are they like the ass clowns that assume everybody has an iPhone? Get an Android. Problem solved. 😎Always love assclowns like you that point out typos and autocorrect on iPhone keypads. #douchebag
Evidence of 1 kid getting their offer rescinded on signing day?College sports is a joke and people don’t realize what’s really going on. Look at the transfer portal numbers = insane. Coaches been doing this for decades.Same for coaches. The problem seems most accurate when a coach leaves for a new school. Doesn't seem so if they get fired.
I guess the coaches are the C/Os and the ADs are the wardens?Who are the inmates?
Well , if the semester ended and these guys are actually supposed to be going to school you can’t make people wait .No reason transfer portal should be open currently.
Wait til the bowl season/playoffs end
Yes very true that the high school kids are getting screwed .College sports is a joke and people don’t realize what’s really going on. Look at the transfer portal numbers = insane. There isn't even a limit any more on how many scholarships you can give for players from highschool because you can't know how many you will lose. I don't see how you can limit how many coming in when you don't know how many are going out. The roster limit is the only limiting factor.Yes very true that the high school kids are getting screwed .
I think there needs to be a limit as to how many transfers a program can take each year. Or some type of sliding scale as to how many transfers in you can compared to transfers in . It’s all very complicated
I don’t know either but the whole thing is a mess. There isn't even a limit any more on how many scholarships you can give for players from highschool because you can't know how many you will lose. I don't see it as a mess. It's chaotic at times but I'll take the good it brings over the bad on balance.I don’t know either but the whole thing is a mess.
Yes - for example go look at what Pitt did to their girl soccer recruiting class. Penn State also. Plenty of others too.Evidence of 1 kid getting their offer rescinded on signing day?
And the baseball powerhouses will recruit 15+ pitchers in a class and then bounce a bunch of freshman only to then bring in transfers and JUCOs. The kids are totally screwed because if they stay on schollie they have no access to facilities or the team. Then if they transfer they can’t play anywhere until a year or more later.Yes - for example go look at what Pitt did to their girl soccer recruiting class. Penn State also. Plenty of others too.
I don’t know the specifics of those instances but have seen similar in stories I’ve read. They weren’t due to the portal but upcoming roster/scholarship limit sizes across sports. I don’t know remember all the details though.Yes - for example go look at what Pitt did to their girl soccer recruiting class. Penn State also. Plenty of others too.
Yes several factors. Pitt was notorious for over-recruiting and the settlement talk alone ended with a dozen girls in the portal and a bunch of offers rescinded. The worst part is how long they waited to tell the girls and the signing day nonsense is BS.I don’t know the specifics of those instances but have seen similar in stories I’ve read. I tend to think this rescinding stuff should generally be a one time event because it’s due to the NCAA settlement.Yes several factors. I tend to agree - but at the same time what we will continue to see is a percentage of players from each team will be asked to leave in order to back-fill those slots with transfers. In effect freshman/soph year becomes nothing more than a college tryout.I tend to think this rescinding stuff should generally be a one time event because it’s due to the NCAA settlement.
So when everyone is right sized after this year and the settlement is in effect, I’d think it shouldn’t happen with the frequency it might be happening at currently.
Didn't realize Android phones were typo proof. Great to know and thanks for chiming in with that!!!Are they like the ass clowns that assume everybody has an iPhone? Get an Android. Problem solved. 😎
Maybe not a week before signing day. But I know a player who was balls deep into his commitment, got his offer from Tulane rescinded after they started 10-0. Wound up signing with and starting for Delaware in their playoffs.Evidence of 1 kid getting their offer rescinded on signing day?
The very low transfer rates from the service academies (can only do so during their first 2 years) has likely contributed to their improvement over the past year or two. Continuity has to matter somewhat.I understand. Don't think the Cadets did though.
Not possible in terms of kids transferring and being signed up for classes in time for Spring semester. For example Spring classes begin at Rutgers this year on January 16th and the NC game won't be played until Jan 20th.No reason transfer portal should be open currently.

I don’t like perpetual free agency/roster turnover in any pro sports . But that’s just me and the system is what it is.I don't see it as a mess. It's chaotic at times but I'll take the good it brings over the bad on balance.
You don't get the TCU, IU, ASU, Colorado, Vandy, BYU etc..type stories without it. If there is an issue like Marshall that happens at times, on balance I'll make that trade.
I'm here to help and bring peace on earth and good will between Rutgers fans.Didn't realize Android phones were typo proof. Great to know and thanks for chiming in with that!!!
Not with you typing 😂Didn't realize Android phones were typo proof. Great to know and thanks for chiming in with that!!!
So go to a 24 team playoff bracket? Yes, let the carnage begin.FBS should follow the same format that all the other football divisions follow and start their playoffs in December right after Championship week.
Do that and find out very quickly why no one wants to come to your school to play. The current environment has too much packed into a small window. Bowl games are the least important thing happening in the entire window. They are basically exhibition games now outside of the playoff.Students who do not play in bowl games or playoffs should have to pay back all the money for the Fall semester to the school that was given to them—tuition, room and board, books, computers, etc. Coaches contracts should stipulate that they can not leave a school or do any work for another school until their current team post season is over.
Don’t think they’ll ever go beyond 16 butSo go to a 24 team playoff bracket? Yes, let the carnage begin.
Would be like teams since FBS season ends later. So go to a 24 team playoff bracket? Yes, let the carnage begin.
