OT: New York Yankees 2020 season

How about Sanchez’s pop fly that rode the wind into the right field bleachers? Hope karma doesn’t come back to bite us in the ass on that one.

Loaisiga? Why? WHY?
More and more dogshit relief pitching. What used to be a strength is now a liability.

If they don't win tonite and Happ going tomorrow... there's going to be a huge problem.

No confidence in Ottavino led to bringing in JL and a kid with very little big game experience.

I don’t think Loaisiga is the right guy for this moment. Boone giving way too much leash right now.

JL is a 5th/6th inning pitcher. With Indians ahead now, get Chapman out of the game ASAP or you're effed tomorrow.

This isn't really Boone's fault... it's guys like Green and Britton not doing their job that created the JL issue.

Mercado pinch hitting.
Pitch 1, foul
Pitch 2, swinging strike
Pitch 3, foul
Pitch 4, strike 3, passed ball, Sanchez falls trying to chase it, Mercado safe stealing 1st
f**king Dirty

Well that was fun. Sanchez has managed to give me agita again. Glad I stayed up, but now I'm all hyper.

So true.

Lol, Judgemental, yea take meds isn't being too douchey . Do you see a pattern here, I only react after you call me out in a thread, but in your mind, I'm trolling you, too funny.Unlike many Yankee fans, I never trashed Torres, just Mr. Softee. Take advantage of The Face Of Baseball, while he's able to stay on the field. Heard there will be heavy wind gusts tonight, so keep your fingers crossed.

Perhaps let's discuss the real pattern here. You come here for the sole purpose of trolling. When challenged directly or called out on it, you partake in personal attacks both against posters as well as Yankee players. Interesting that the you are constantly throwing around the D-bag insult, and in the same posts bashing a player who by all accounts is a model person, great player in the clubhouse and on the field, is not a prima donna and is a team leader.....and your reasoning for bashing him is solely due to injuries he has sustained....some of which involved getting hit by pitches or diving for balls in the OF. Self-reflection sometimes comes in handy for overly judgmental people. Now that the MLB playoffs have started - isn't it time for Mets fans to move on to Apple Picking or Foliage Watching to help calm the envy.

PS......another win, another playoff series for the Yanks. another off-season with no games for the Mets.

Shhhhh. He's actually the good luck charm. The more he posts here the more the Yankees win. 😃 It must kill him.

This record caught me by complete surprise considering how many long games the Yankees and Red Sox always seem to play. But according to ESPN, having lasted 4 hours 50 minutes (even excluding the rain delays), last night's game was the longest nine-inning game in major league history.

Was shocked to hear that as well. It seems like the Top 25 are all Yanks-Red Sox games.

Pitching will get considerably better from here on out. Bullpen is really going to need to stepup, cause the NYY aren't likely scoring 22 runs in a FIVE game series against TB.

Not if you go by the regular season numbers (although there was nothing regular about this season):
Bieber ERA.....1.63
Carrasco..........2.91 Cleveland team ERA 3.29

Snell ERA....... 3.24
Glasnow..........4.08
Morton........... 4.74 Tampa team ERA.......3.56

Cashman got him in a trade for "cash considerations". Think about that the next time you hear someone in this thread saying Cashman sucks as a GM and he needs to go.
As I said before for every great move there is a disaster. Only a fool would think a single move makes a GM great!

Agreed but you sure do get crazy with every bad move he makes. lol

His success ration outweighs his failure ratio. If I thought there were better options, I'd be all for switching for the good of the team. But there just isn't.

No it doesn't. Every pitcher he has traded for has not been great at all. For every Gio I can raise you a Stanton.
I go crazy not with every bad move. I go crazy when people say he is a great GM. He's not. He is at best average.
And the trades not made are never talked about. He did nothing this year with a playoff format with no rest days between games in a series. Big mistake!

IMO trades should be weighed against what was given up. What did the Yankees give up for Stanton? Yanks transitioned from an old team to a young contending team in less than one season.

Ps......Voit says hello. So does Torres, and before him, DiDi.
