Had Avs season tickets and was at the game. One of a few in the crowd cheering for the Devils and against Ray Borque.

I'd be surprised if they stopped serving it at Prudential Center despite the end of the helmet sponsorship.
The partnership gave him enormous publicity.
i saw lots of comments on Devils social media from people who didn’t know who he was or that he actually owned a coffee shop in Woodbridge.
Fans were talking about making the trip to Woodbridge to support him/etc.
He still has a few stands at Rutgers Stadium? I forgot to look for them when I was up in NJ for the Northwestern game
Schmid's play in goal is the key to a potential deep playoff run.

While Vitek will win a lot of regular season games I don’t think we can rely on him in the playoffs.

The power play has been clicking so far. They have the ability to be lethal on it with the amount of scoring talent they have .
Idk. He excelled in one series. I hope he can consistently do what he did against the Rangers.
Schmid had a very good regular season too
Luke is a serious upgrade handling the puck on PP-2 compared to Severson.
There’s gonna be basically one starting spot up for grabs. One of Nosek, Lazar, Clarke, Foote will likely claim it. Nothing to dislike about that, means they have a ton of depth.
Clarke is not going to be here.
There was no reason to waste a contract on Nosek when Foote is already here and needs ice time to develop
If we lose Foote on waivers because we kept Nosek it would be a regretful blunder

Do we know if there will be Devils regular season games shown on ESPN+ like some of these preseason games have been shown, or will they all go back to MSG?
I have HULU, no MSG on HULU... but I want to watch the Devils and was shut out for most of last year. It's been a nice surprise seeing the Devils on ESPN+ so far this preseason

ESPN+ will have almost every devils game. But will be blacked out if you’re in market
I’d agree. I do think Nosek was added as insurance for McLeod, who’s long been rumored to be part of the hockey Canada assault case and may not play this year
Will be interesting if they send HOLTZ down, being he’s waiver exempt, in order to keep Foote?
They can keep both, Holtz, assuming he makes the team, would certainly be in the lineup with Foote as an extra fwd.
Get's more interesting if they think Thompson has earned a spot.
My guess is Holtz is in the lineup to start the season, and would have to play his way out of it. Thompson is Utica as 1st call up(seems he has jumped Clarke for now) Foote as an extra.
Neither Thompson or Foote are waiver exempt and both will be claimed if the Devils try to send them to Utica.
Foote has better scoring potential but Tjompson’s style is a better fit on the 4th line.
I’d keep both of them and waive Nosek.
