The 11 high danger chances Florida had is a good amount, but what gave the sense of the Rangers being bombarded was the volume of lesser chances. Not an analytics specialist, so I will take your word on that. I know what my eyes saw, and it was extremely stressful and felt like high danger for a good portion of that game. It didn't feel like Florida was throwing a lot of low percentage shots at Shesterkin. I felt like they were getting into high danger spots a lot and Shesterkin stole the game.
Miller's turnovers were definitely killers, but Florida is in the offensive zone a lot and it seems like the Rangers are having a tough time clearing the puck while SH especially compared to how they looked against Washington and Carolina.
Meanwhile, the Rangers similar number of good chances didn’t seem like much because they weren’t doing that much else besides those 10 chances.
