Not true. It can be either or both. You don't steal on the catcher. That falls on the pitcher.
Has anyone lost a little faith in Escobar?Escobar gonna Escobar. Great guy and great teammate though.
I'm afraid that Buck seems willing to ride the Escobar train straight into a wall. Him being popular in the clubhouse seems to greatly outweigh performance. When McNeil returns, can Buck slide Guillorme to 3rd base?
Guillorme's defense is solid, but his bat is for real.
But Escobar could use the time to reset himself.I'm afraid that Buck seems willing to ride the Escobar train straight into a wall. Him being popular in the clubhouse seems to greatly outweigh performance.
Done alsoThere you go. Gone and you should do so yourself.
Now for Mets talk the back end of the pen needs help. Going to be our main focus at the deadline I believe. Hopefully Hunter can pitch well and May comes back and does the same.
This had to be one of the few SNL skits that rivaled the original SNL classics. The Janet Jackson skit is the only other one that could be put in with this as worthy
Overall it's just not a strong performance with multiple batters in the low 200's or below. Really need to have a strong draft to start developing some young starting pitching and OF prospects with most of the guys on the current major league roster at both spots on the plus side of 30.Jake Mangum likely our for the year with a lower back injury. He was basically our next OF depth after Plummer and Lee. Probably why we just signed Endar Inciarte.
Ronny Mauricio really struggling lately. OBP below .300 even now. His prospect status is down big time.

The farm has a few high upside players but the depth still isn't there. Alvarez is as elite as they come which helps. The draft this year will help. We have a lot of decent arms from last years draft that will move rather quickly as well with some upside as middle to back end SP or relief.Overall it's just not a strong performance with multiple batters in the low 200's or below. Really need to have a strong draft to start developing some young starting pitching and OF prospects with most of the guys on the current major league roster at both spots on the plus side of 30.
Is this not a carbon copy of last year?Looks like we can kiss another 1/2 game off our lead goodbye as SF is again wilting in the Georgia heat today.
Correct. The other guy only appeared in two games in those other pinstripes. (The Mets of course wear the "real" pinstripes.)Williams, Maybin, Drury were Yanks. Can't think of the 4th!
