OT: Post different types of beer you've tried, and how it was.

If you're into NEIPA's get some Industrial Arts Wrench, it's arguably as good as any you'll find.
I've liked the two other Industrial Arts beers I've had (Tools of the Trade and Power Tools) so I'll have to keep my eye out for Wrench.

For you Stout fans out there, find Hardywood Gingerbread Stout. By far the best Christmas Stout out there. They also make Christmas Morning which is excellent as well. 17 Xoco was very good this year from Stone.

I'm not a fruit in beer guy at all. With very few exceptions. One of them was Shiners Cheers. A Dunkle with Texas peach and pecans. In years past a fantastic beer. This year not so much. Pure peach flavor, way overboard. Unless you like peach overload I would avoid.

I still have 2 GBS from last year that I need to drink. I thought about getting the complete set of 7 online this year but didn't pull the trigger. Where'd you get Christmas Morning?

17 Backwoods Bastard was fantastic. Need to do a side by side comp with CW BA Scotch Ale. Philly just got 17 BA Ten Fidy, 17 BA Abyss, and 17 BBA GBS. Hoping Rum BA GBS is on the way.

Just picked up some New Belgium Accumulation and Stone Xocoveza. Both are very good IMO, however totally different style beers.

Just had backwoods bastard for the first time tonight. Holy smokes is it good. Had 2 small glasses and felt tipsy. Though I didn’t eat with it, I imagine it pairs really well with certain foods. Definitely one of the top 5 beers I’ve ever had.

Troon Let the Devil In was good...very sweet. Veil peanut butter cup hornswoggler was a liquid peanut butter good, so good. Today it's Vanilla Abraxas & Java Ten Fidy for the tailgate.

What is the best New Jersey distributed beer available nowadays? I see Carton most often in NYC, sometime Flying Fish and River Horse, and very occasionally Kane.

IPA fans in Philly will be happy to know that Melvin from Wyoming will be starting distro via Shangy's. These guys are the real deal...won tons of awards at GABF and were likely testing the market during PBW much like Deschutes a few years ago.

Will it be available on draft or just cans? I'm able to find cans where I live at some bars. I had the Melvin IPA and it was very good.

I cracked open a bottle of Against The Grain Bo & Luke...BBA Imperial Stout collab with De Molen from Holland. Smoky and smooth. Also got the 17 Baptist Trio from Epic (Big Bad Baptist, Baptista and Triple Barrel Baptist). Getting Prairie Bible Belt, Hardywood Christmas Morning and Kentucky Christmas Morning, and FW XXI Anniversary Ale this week.

I had the Accumulation a year ago and liked it more than expected.

Picked up a 6 of the Stone Xocoveza last night for a Christmas Party and I thought it was excellent and I don't drink a ton of stout and I am not a huge fan of imperials. Stone usually doesn't disappoint.

I now live in the deep south (Jersey) and nearby me is Pinelands Brewery in Little Egg Harbor. They have several notable brews including Swamp Donkey IPA which is now being distributed throughout the state. Their Evan John Porter and 08087 APA are excellent. Check it out if you can.

IPA fans should seek out Grey Sail Captain's Daughter. Just got a 4 pack of that from South Jersey. Grey Sail will be in PA via Nevulis in January 2018.

Just tried 10 beers from legendary Bottle Logic in California. The best were Fundamental Summation and Number Crunch 2 imperial stouts that were off the charts, as good as anything I have ever tried. The mead Iridium Flare was unreal too.

Merry Christmas to me. Just got 17 Abraxas and 17 Triple Barrel Big Bad Baptist. Santa just needs to get me Willettized and I will consider it a good haul.

In honor of Winter Solstice, the Darkest Day of the Year, I'm breaking out the 17 Hardywood GBS. This is what Christmas tastes like in beer form. Saving the 17 Bourbon BA GBS for Christmas Eve.

I had 1 of my 16 GBS and now need to find a 17 Christmas Morning and 17 GBS.
