OT: Post different types of beer you've tried, and how it was.

My parents live in Jackson I may send my dad over to get me some. Are there lines usually? Does the product sell out fast?! Maybe I can order and he can pickup for me. I plan to check out Source once the outdoor seating is opened.

Right now with Icarus you can place your order on there website starting at 9am tomorrow morning I believe. Yes some stuff does sell out fast. They don’t take walk up orders right now however. You can schedule your pickup times through the website or they will deliver to certain areas on certain days of the week $50 minimum order too. If he lives in Jackson he may be able to find it at some stores near him. On Wednesday mornings at 9ish is when there new stuff goes on sale for the week.

Went to Cypress Brewing yesterday, they had 6 or 7 big tables set up. They have good beers. Had a flight, everything was good. Their new Dark Thoughts a black ipa and their Bru'd with Amarillo with pineapple pale ale was excellent.

So for any of you that drink Corona or Corona Light you better stock up now. 12 pack bottles in Philly have been out of stock three weeks. Corona itself is also out in the 12 pack beginning today. Glad I stocked up yesterday for the store. In Monmouth County it's similar. Most stores are just selling their Corona inventory haven't got 6 pack or loose cases since last week.
I don't understand the love affair of that beer. It's awful. But I sell a lot of it so I bring a bunch in every week.

I’ve had a few Other Half Oat Cream DDH IPA’s the last month. So smooth and delicious.

Dos Equis.
Stay thirsty my friend.

Been searching for milkshake IPAs or other types with fruit and lactose -- nice and refreshing after a hot day. Tried these two, recently. Both decent, not great, but would definitely try again.

Equilibrium BA Players was awesome and extra thick and sticky. Nice coffee, vanilla, and barrel with a little coconut...

Over one year ago we took a portion of the yield from Players, a beer conceptualized with our friends Three Chiefs Brewing Co. and added it to Willet Bourbon barrels. BA Players was then treated with Madagascar vanilla beans, Fiji cacao nibs, toasted coconut, and Mostra Coffee Ghost Bear espresso blend. The beer pours jet black with a tan head. Aromas of fudge, oak, and coconut lead the way into flavors of thick brownie batter melded with coconut flakes, sweet vanilla, wheated bourbon, and an affirming coffee note that harmonizes all of the flavors in a perfectly even keeled adjunct proportion. Bourbon barrel notes cup the adjuncts in a beer that is thicker than its base with a creamy milk chocolate viscosity in a perfectly wrapped finish.

There's a Beligan case at costco (Edison) now.. its prolly everywhere.. prolly cheaper too. I htink it is dishonest packaging.. I figured they had 8 bottles of each.. WRONG

2 sixes of Stella (just okay.. the others are good but are my fave style)
1 six of Leffe (a blond)
1 six of Hoegaarden (a wheat)

(not same package but same combo of beers)

I've never tried one of these "milkshake" type of beers. Are they thick?

No, same consistency as most beers, just made with lactose and one or more fruits. Never TOO strong, but some have a better overall taste than others.

Here are a few I've found in the Central NJ area -- usually only one or two types at a time, and they never have more than a few 4-packs of any one type. Goes quickly.

Just stopped at Burnt Mills Cider on Rt. 206 between Bedminster and Chester. Looks like a fun after work place or at least somewhere to stop on a hot summer day. Got a four pack of semi dry cider in 16 ounce cans, and a small growler of hard cider made with Jersey blueberries. You can bring your own food onto their patio. They said they have a food truck on Thursdays.

Any specific reason that it's in such high demand right now (other than summer/quarantine, etc.)? I agree, that stuff is awful and I think people drink it for the image or idea it projects rather than the taste.

The brewery was closed in April for awhile and its mostly because of that. Corona for the most part is a summer beer.

Missing tap beer, since the pandemic, and we really didn't want to take it home with takeout food, so other than Heineken which I don't like, and comes in 5L mini kegs, I'm going to try both Fruh Kolsch and BitBurger. Has anybody tried these? I'm told they taste close to Domestic beers which my wife and youngest son only like.PS. We had it last night, the draft was excellent!!! At $19.99, it was well worth the taste of real draft beer again.

I love Fruh Kolsch! Kolsch style lagers are perfect for summer. Refreshing and tasty! BitBurger is an above average foreign Pilsner. Good choice on both. Where did you get them?

Who else scored Kane’s release today?
Kane Mexican Dessert was awesome, and almost tasted like a blend of Saturday Night Lights and Mexican Brunch. Graham cracker is great. So smooth and not too sweet. Nice balance of all the flavors and not too sweet...

Mexican Dessert is inspired by a delicious dessert called a Spiced Mexican Chocolate Coconut Pie. Mexican Dessert starts off with our Imperial Milk Porter base, before being conditioned on graham cracker, coconut, maple, cinnamon, cacao, and ancho chilies.⁣

I thought it came from Fort Worth, TX.
So funny that Fosters as a product is non-existent in AUS.
Of the large breweries the most popular beers vary by state/territory:
NSW - Tooheys New
VIC - Victoria Bitter
Queensland - XXXX
Tassie - Cascade
Northern Territory - XXXX
Not sure what folks in WA / Perth are drinking.
