OT: Prime Time will crash and burn

This rivalry is personal. It's common to find CU students on the CSU campus at a party or vice versa. It gets ugly due to seeing someone you don't like 365 days of the year. CSU (& Utah) never forgave CU for leaving the Rocky Mountain Conference for the Big 7 (Big 8/Big 12). CSU wishes the worst on CU for that move. CU has never looked back. Also, if CU offers a local kid, then CSU offers, chances are the offer may not be committable to CU.

I remember playing for Coach Mac, and the CU/CSU game was the only game where any personal fouls didn't carry any punishment the following week. Coach Mac was religious, and the CSU game was the closest I've seen him curse. As you can see, I don't like CSU anymore than I like State Penn or Sorrycuse.
You would know best but I also know there is a lot of hated due to CU being the "outsider" school whereas most in state kids go to CSU.

Personally think CO ST got hosed in OT with blind side block and targeting call. They did such a quick review on targeting from the back he got up under chin with shoulder pad. Blind side block was a love tap

I like Prime and Colorado is a great story. That said I thought this past week it went way too far with the distractions and it looked like it hurt the team. I think Colorado will still win 10+ this year but I’ll be surprised if they survive the next two weeks

The blindside block was a bad call. The targeting call on Kamara was a make up call for the hit on Hunter. That was textbook targeting.

CSU's Blackburn (hit Hunter) saw the pass hit the ground right in front of him
Then he actually had to maneuver around his defending teammate to turn sideways and put a shoulder into Travis - who was being held. Blackburn then went to hover over Travis .

Dirty play and it wasn't the only one I saw from CSU. I wouldn't schedule those guys.

Indeed CSU was the dirtiest college team I've seen since Vontaze Burfict days at Arizona State

We never saw LT, Banks or Carson putting their helmets under QB chins on purpose when they had clean shots. These helmet kill shots came in later

Not when you take two additional steps and drive the player to the ground with all your weight on top of him. That leads to unnecessary injuries.
If he got there on the release that would have been a perfect tackle. He didnt lead with helmet, he was squared up. Why can every other player get hit like that but the QB. He was out of the pocket its fair game. 15yder yes targeting no. I dont know why but watched Colorado games and the get alot of calls. That dude should have pulled by coach for back to back 15yders.

CO St got screwed on TD with blind side hit that was ridiculous. You can even see it with the announcers they agree with all these calls immediately w/o review. The powers to be want CO to win games I'm convinced

For everyone saying CU is a circus, etc the team has looked disciplined on the field. If they were a circus on the field you easily would have had a Miami/FIU type of a brawl after that hit.

Kamala is a beast. Never heard of the guy before this game. He was a one man wrecking crew.
Kamala is the old school WWF wrestler, The Ugandan Giant, always accompanied by his manager Kim Chee… (looking back, yikes 😂😂😂).

Kamara is a senior out of Newark Central.

Any interest from Rutgers at the time?

Virtually the same hit in the Buffalo - Las Vegas game. 15 yards unsportsman like, no targeting.

The new 1980s Miami Hurricanes in the making?

The hype is even worse than Miami and it got way out ahead of the team's development.
Fair to say they got distracted and too chippy

Bart Scott used to say (when a WFAN host) you have to have some "goblins" on your team acting as enforcers. Colorado doesn't have many goblins that I've seen so they should be careful about provoking dirty teams that do.

Sanders has been vocal about having high character players who don't associate with negative characters. For TCU game he was telling players that it "doesn't matter who they are playing" because they just need to play against themselves and their own weaknesses - strive to be their best.

Then for Nebby that started changing and he was telling team you "need to protect crib" and "don't let people come into your house and push you around - its personal."

Then the sunglasses thing played into the "personal" thing and the team starts getting wound-up and getting "personal" over State. The "doesn't matter who we play" thing wnt out the window.

Then there were all the washed-up rappers pushing the "personal" beef with Sanders Mom and it was no surprise teams were pushing and shoving before dressing. The Rock is there, A Migos rapper (cookin drugs with an Uzi) is there promoting his records on sideline interviews. Sanders worked with sunglasses brand to sell 1.2m in stock. The whole atmosphere turned into an unfocused carnival with Game Day present. I wasn't surprised when State started lighting them up and playing dirty.

You can't try to take 2 wins and act like Miami on Saturday when you've been trying to be ND or Boy's Town since January. Don't preach living a clean life free from "elements" and then show-off your druggy rappers who have band members get killed. Wayne had some issues at Jackson St with another rapper he beefed with. Coach Prime became Coach Neon this week and hopefully things just got carried away for week and not a whole season of "beefs" and bluster - keep the carnival off the sidelines

Guy's a positive role model. He's a hall of famer, who doesn't need to coach. Instills the concept of hard work and dedication. His showboating and larger than life persona is who he is, always has been. Doesn't take away that he's a workaholic and puts his money where his mouth is.

His treatment of that superfan older lady who just lost her sister was a beautiful thing. He really went all out to ingratiate himself to the Colorado fans and show this isn't a pit stop onto bigger things. It still may be but he isn't giving that impression. Colorado is a big enough stage for him to accomplish whatever he wants.

Guy's a net positive in light of all the craziness that is happening in big time college sports.

Exactly why he’s a doosh. All about him.
You had one of the worst calls in board history. Even the Rock is calling him a game changer. He is being interviewed on 60 minutes tonight. He turned the program around in a few months.

He will lose the next two games but will have the worst P5 team last year bowling in season 1 with top 25 wins.

You probably thought no one would own a cell phone in 2000. Too slow to understand big change.

At the time - now he's 250 and considered a top NFL prospect
Oh I know the kid can play and will play on Sundays. But he’s not the Schiano type. He looks for LBs between 210-230. Only recruit at 190 was Moses Walker.

Then again, 2019 was during The Error and I wouldn’t blame Kamara for not wanting to play for Ash. 🤷🏻‍♂️

His team, including his sons, is out of control. They are looking for a fight at every turn. The game last night was a disgrace (both teams), and it's all due to this insane frenzy he creates around everything. It's all personal...while we preach that "nobody's opinion of me matters." I didn't see him winning out of the gate like this, so he didn't crash and burn. I suppose that's the worst call in history. But he's still a doosh and I don't know how anyone from Colorado can be proud of it.
